I had my first appointment with Dr. Leatherwood and was very impressed. She was professional, thorough, and understanding throughout my visit. My initial appointment included X-rays, an exam, and treatment recommendations, and everything went smoothly. I really appreciated how clearly she explained each step and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I’m glad to have found a dental office that cares about both quality and patient experience.

I had to find a new dentist due to my Ins changing and I chose Leatherwood Family off of Google. I called to make an appt for my husband and I. Trinity was so kind and helpful. She was very up front about what to expect with pricing and what my Ins would cover. My husband got an appt within 2 days and I got in within 1 week. The office is very clean and feels very welcoming. Julie who took pictures and prepped me was also very sweet. I hadn't seen a dentist in a year due to my cancer journey. I needed clearance from a dentist to move forward in my treatment. Dr. Learherwood was a breathe of fresh air. She spent a good amount of time with me, asking questions about my journey and getting to know me. She was very informative and thorough while discussing my xrays with me and how my teeth may be affected with the medication I have to take. It isn't everyday you find a Dr. and their staff who dont make you feel like a number. My experience was 100 out of 100. I would definitely recommend Leatherwood Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Leatherwood and her staff are awesome, I’ve never been disappointed with my visit’s at Leatherwood Dental. I would highly recommend this practice, the staff at the front desk are amazing and treat you like family. The communication with emails, text and phone calls rate very high with me because there have been times where they have communicated with me about times that have come available before my scheduled appointment and times where I had to reschedule because of my work schedule. But because of the communication they provide makes scheduling decisions easier. The hygienist’s are also awesome with their skills, professionalism and kindness. I would rate them as a 10 out of 10 for the work they do, awesome ladies they are. I saved the best for last, and that would be Dr. Samantha Leatherwood. An outstanding Dentist. She has worked on me for many years and has done a fantastic job. When she started working on teeth I was embarrassed to open my mouth because my teeth were in very bad shape, when I would laughed or smile I would cover my mouth or hold my head down but Dr. Leatherwood changed that with the amazing work she did on me and now when I laugh or smile I don’t cover my mouth anymore. She is the reason why I’m very proud to show off my smile. Leatherwood Dental is and will always be my home for Dentistry.

Dr. Leatherwood and her staff are fantastic! Very courteous, considerate, and kind. Monica helped ease any anxiety related to my insurance questions. The new patient setup was also quite easy and straightforward. Very happy with my choice to become a patient here, and will be returning!

My first experience and I was seen in two days with an issue that just arose which needed a little attention. Within 5 minutes of arrival, I was taken to a very clean and modern room for my x-rays before the doctor came in after 20 minutes of waiting after the x-rays to examine the problem. She was very friendly and attentive. After explaining what she found and how we could proceed, I was happy to schedule a future cleaning with her and cancel my scheduled cleaning with my dentist of 30 years (which I have to drive 45 minutes to see). She is much closer to my home since I have moved and glad to have a provider nearer to me now that I feel comfortable with. Hoping that future visits are as pleasant.

I’m 34 and have been to many dentists. This is by far the best dentist I’ve been to. They give such a friendly, homey vibe and are truly down to earth. I thoroughly appreciated the patience and education provided by Samantha. She is so good at what she does and helps you understand your options including what she doesn’t feel like is necessary (which I appreciate). I’ve already scheduled my daughters appointment and plan to make this our family dentist.

Dr.Leatherwood and her staff are by far the best I’ve ever experienced when it comes to a dentist office, The office is clean. The staff are the nicest they do such a great job and make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. I would recommend this place for anybody who’s had bad experiences with previous dentist offices. You will regret it.
