University of Rochester Medicine Eastman Dental – Downtown

I had a cleaning and they missed half my teeth with the tooth brush. Plus after my filling they didnt schedule me another appointment. I've been trying to call them and no one ever picks up the phone.

Don't make an appointment if you'd actually like to be seen, I guess. I called in August of 2024 to make an appointment, first available was in January. January appointment cancelled, moved to February. February appointment was canceled, moved to March. Today was the March appointment and I finally got a hold of someone (the voicemail is full and they rarely answer the phone, if they do they just put you on hold without waiting for you to say yes that's fine) to find that today's appointment is cancelled and rescheduled to May. My kids have been on the wait list for over a year too, no end in sight.

I was scared to come here because of all of the bad reviews but I had a great experience at Eastman Dental! I came in for an emergency and didn’t have an appointment and waited about 2 hours to be seen. Pretty average for an emergency appointment. The dentist and nurse I had were very kind and accommodating and helped me with my dental issue quickly. I would definitely come back in the future!

Very sorry, lazy workers at eastmain downtown. They don't answer there phone , it's very hard to get in contact with anyone. Very unprofessional, want return calls know matter what. I have been waiting to see a dentist for 2yrs . It started off good with them , and I have been with them over 7yrs now

I been waiting for my appointment and I came 15mns late because the place is really hard to find. I came on time but then I hade to walk around the building to find the place. I'm 5 months pregnant and when I finally made it to the check in they said my appointment was canceled. I explained and they didn't care... for me is not fare when the place doesn't have the proper directions on the streets.

Not complaining because staff is always rotating and this 2024 group I like but my insurance company did get charged for a pair of retainers I never saw. They made me come several times and still I never got them. If anyone knows a audit number let me know cause I did ask and they said the several times they made me come didnt exist in the books.

I have a managed care medicaid plan with excellus blue choice option. I spent the last 3 years trying to find a dentist that takes it in Rochester. They saw me for an emergency and took me on as a full-time regular patient because they take my insurance. They've been a godsend. I have Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and my jaw likes to dislocate during dental procedures, right? Well, for the first time in my LIFE I had a dental assistant that held my jaw in place while they extracted teeth 🥹 so for the first time ever I left a dental office without excruciating jaw pain!!! They really seem to care.
