Sequoia Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Jack is the dentist I'd want for myself if I were a kid. I am so happy we found his dental practice in our new neighborhood. Our family is very COVID conscious and have not been good about keeping up with our routine dentist appointments since the pandemic hits. Of course, toddlers fight, accident happen and we needed an emergency appointment. We were able to get a same day appointment right away, even as new clients. They have a very safe COVID procedure to maximize social distancing and minimize exposure risk. Despite meeting the high level of sterility expected of clinics, the staff's amazing and warm bedside manner made the clinic a loving and happy place to be. My kids felt at ease as soon as they walked in, and we felt welcome as if we are a part of their family. My 3 years old was screaming, I love Dr. Jack, as soon as he walks out. I am very lucky we found such a great dentist for our family. Thank you Dr. Jack and his team! The exam rooms are clean, bright and has a TV. Parents can choose the TV show for the kids to watch, but the most important aspect is that I get to relax when the TV is on. My kids walk out today with big brught smiles on their faces. They love the toothbrush in their goody bags so much that they asked to brush their teeth as soon as they get home. This place is just magical!

Dr Jack and his whole team are incredible. We first sought care at Sequoia Pediatric Dentistry when our (now 8 year old) daughter was 2. She had developed cavities in her front teeth, likely from night nursing, and my wife had all the mom guilt. We went to three other dentists who suggested putting our 2 year old to sleep to fill, or using a silver material that would essentially turn her teeth black for the subsequent 4 years but would likely arrest the cavities. Dr Jack was unbelievably kind and empathic, and recommended the least invasive solution- he put a little space between the teeth to help prevent anything from getting stuck between them, the observed every 3 months for the first year, then every 6 months until she lost those teeth a few months ago (~6 years later!). We now take all three of our children to Dr Jack, and have recommended him countless times over the years to friends and friends of friends who have driven all the way from Marin to see him. Incredible dentist, even more incredible human. (And all of my kids love him and love going to the dentist!)

We had our first appointment at Sequoia Pediatric Dentistry today and had an awesome experience. The office is clean and beautiful and Dr. Jack and the staff are so friendly. All our communication to set up the appointments were through Angelina and she was quick to respond, professional, and kind. I took my 5 yr old, 3 yr old, and 1 month old (to consult about a lip tie) and my older kids loved it. They got to see all the tools, watch TV, and then got toys at the end. I was worried about my 3 yr old but Dr. Jack and Eva made him feel so comfortable during his cleaning. We'll be going here for our future appointments for sure.

Brought my 3-year-old son to Dr. Jack's new practice last week for his first dentist visit ever. Dr. Jack was extremely friendly and thorough in discussing dental health with both me and my son. It was clear that the practice takes great care to create a kid-friendly environment, from the waiting room to the dentist's chair... they have lots of toys, stickers, books, and other tools to help kids feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

Where do I start, it was my minis first time visiting. When we got there the entire staff was Covid safe and we felt warm and welcome and in a safe place. When we arrived there was a sign with my daughters name welcoming her, it was a very thoughtful touch. When the doctor came in he was amazing with my daughter and explained to her what he would be using and let her touch them and feel them. My daughter was nervous so i started singing to her..... and so did the doctor and as a mom that made me so happy because she started to calm down and enjoy us signing to her. He was signing with her and thoroughly explaining how she is progressing. 20/10.... I do not usually get attached to Doctors but we are now loyal clients and look forward to going back in 6 months!

Warm and attentive dentist. He took the time to really walk through proper dental hygiene, not only explaining it to my 4 year old, but also educating me as well. He was very patient with my daughter and the place is just very kid friendly. She enjoyed going to the dentist! She has a cavity and we have to come back, and Dr. Jack was also really upfront about the costs, what's covered by insurance, and what I would have to cover. I definitely recommend him.

I recently visited with my two young children and they both had a great experience at the dentist! The whole process was smooth- the online forms were easy and convenient to fill out. Dr. Jack and the dental hygienist were very personable and Dr. Jack made my children feel comfortable while he explained everything. My kids are already asking to go back!
