Had an appointment today with Dr. Black about a possible root canal and I just can’t say enough about how kind thorough patient and caring he is! He’s funny he’s welcoming and I just have never had a dentist or in this case endodontist that has ever been as kind and makes you feel so safe and like you are the only one who matters. He Takes your fear completely away and The fear any work sone on my teeth. His assistant Val is super sweet too. When I left, I was laughing. He gave me a referral and was so helpful in the advice that he gave me. It’s like going to see an old friend when you go to see Dr. Black. If you ever need an endodontist, I Urge you to go to him! Thank you, Dr. Black

I went to Dr Black this morning for a root canal. I had never had one and was so scared but he and his assistant Val made me feel so safe and had me laughing. It ended up being a great experience! I have never had a doctor/dentist, endodontist so concerned about my fear and pain like him. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff! I don't fear a root canal anymore!! oh and his front desk girl was so nice and helpful too. Thank you Dr Black and staff!!!!!

I have had 2 previous root canals a few years ago. A painful traumatic experience. I recently fell and injured four teeth. Had root canals for all on the same day. No pain. Even the anesthetic did not hurt. I highly recommend Dr Black and his staff. Nice. Professional and no pain!!!!

My experience at Dr. Blacks’s office was phenomenal! From the ease and promptness of scheduling an appointment, to the friendliness of his front desk, and to the beautiful and clean aesthetics of his practice, my initial impression was that of an organized, up to date, and caring practice. The most incredible part was my actual evaluation and treatment for a root canal by Dr. Black with the assistance of Lizzie. Dr. Black is by far the gentlest dentist I have ever been to. He has state of the art technology, a calm demeanor with a great sense of humor, thorough knowledge and expertise and meticulous technique. Simple touches such as a jaw rest pad and soothing music softly playing in the background during the procedure helped so much with relaxation. Dr. Black’s assistant knew perfectly when and where to suction to keep me comfortable and was excellent during x-rays. There’s no better evidence for the great care that I received than that I had no pain when the anesthetic wore off and still none now several days later. I am so grateful to Dr. Black, his team and his great care. I would drive three hours to come see him from Northern Va anytime! Lynchburg is so blessed to have him and his wife, orthodontist Dr. Elena Black!

Upon finally finding this office …I was insulted….your advertisement was really opposite of my experience…the office staff had no empathy. I was exhausted in and out of Old Forest Rd traffic. The woman checking patients in was an apparent racist…never making eye contact she was very cocky and cold she spoke to me bitterly that I had only two choices because I was late.The two choices were spoken in anger…I will never pay for this kind of treatment.My recommendation would be to follow up on who is in charge of your health care . I will travel in the near future for my needs to be met….This is Ms Harriet Hubbard …Timothy Moss is my son …the name on the email…I am a 70 year old retired black women

Have been to Dr Black twice for a root canal and both times have had the Best experience. Not only is he so nice and sincere but his whole staff is also. Thanks for a great visit plus it didn’t hurt.
