We had our first ever dentist appointment here today with a one year-old and a three-year-old. I was absolutely blown away by their patients and how interactive they were. SO gentle, kind, understanding, & PATIENT. I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the woman who helped us, but she was incredible, letting the kids touch and feel everything and making sure they were comfortable before putting anything in their mouth. LOVED HER. I have never wrote a review for anything in my life, but I knew I had to after our first ever appointment here! You guys are amazing. 10/10

I don't usually do reviews but when things happen that I feel are offensive to me I do. I had an appointment scheduled for a cleaning today but woke up to being sick. I had my husband call and leave a voicemail message (as they didn't answer) for the office that I would not be there today because of coming down ill and that we wanted to be able to reschedule. Fast forward to afternoon time when it was my appointment time and Jackie called (which I missed due to sleeping) left me a voicemail letting me know it was past my appointment time and wanted to know if I was on my way and to let her know. I called her when I woke up later and let her know that I woke up sick this morning and had my husband call and leave a voicemail that I wouldn't be there for my appointment. She said Megan must have missed hearing the message that was left. She mentioned me calling back to reschedule when I felt better and I mentioned I would like to reschedule so that I could get back in as quick as possible and she then said the flu is going around and it's lingering so we want you to call back when you are completely well. I understand being well before coming there, it's why I didn't come today. Didn't give me much choice, didn't even wish me to feel better....just hung up abruptly and rudely. I've always had the best experience with this office for the last 2 years I have went there until today.

I was curious about Healthy Start because I wanted to get ahead of things as my kids’ adult teeth came in. This approach allowed us to guide growth early, build a solid foundation, and yes, maybe avoid braces later! At our first evaluation, they walked us through photos and measurements and connected what we were seeing in their bites and posture to sleep, airway, and the grinding we heard at night. We began with Healthy Start and later moved to ALF. Both were gentle and easy to live with. No nightly battles, no complicated routines. The wins for us have been quieter nights, less grinding, and softer, broader smiles. They sleep deeper and actually looked rested! Dr. Gehlert and Dr. Beck have been absolutely wonderful with the kids! They are calm, kind, and clear about next steps. Marisa’s myofascial therapy helped tremendously by focusing on how the tongue, teeth, and facial muscles work together, not just how the teeth look. It’s been a low-stress, logical path, and we feel genuinely hopeful about avoiding full braces. I’d absolutely choose this team again in a heartbeat!

I LOVE this office. It's so obvious that every member of the staff cares genuinely for their patients. Dr. Gehlert is so kind and knowledgeable. She has done so much for me and my family over the years, but one of the most incredible things is that she completely fixed my daughter's dramatic underbite in a matter of months. I'd been told elsewhere my daughter would need surgery to reset her jaw when she was 18. But Dr. Gehlert along with Dr. Beck corrected her with a gentle, removable appliance and now the problem has been fixed painlessly before she has even turned five. (I put her before and after photos on this post) Everyone there genuinely cares about you, and Dr G. makes you feel like her family. Thank you Dr. Gehlert and team for years of loving care!

Wonderful! The whole staff is lovely. Plus Dr. Gehlert saved my tooth! I had a molar which anywhere else would have resulted in an immediate root canal - which I wanted to avoid. Dr. Gehlert did ozone treatment on the molar and a crown and I can say a year later, I have had zero issues with the tooth! I couldn't be more pleased with the level of care they provide and education to my health. I'm one who is willing to travel for good doctors. I travel over an hour to see Dr. Gehlert. I'm so pleased and would recommend Bowen Legacy dental to anyone who wants the next level of service to help take care of their health.

I highly recommend Bowen Legacy Dental. We are greeted with smiles every time we come and feel so welcomed. The entire staff are so kind and make my little ones feel so special. We travel a little ways just to come here because they are so worth it.
