Una atención excelente, muy buenos profesionales

Maggie was amazing. From the very start, she was incredibly gentle, patient, and never rushed through anything. She really knew her stuff and worked seamlessly with the doctor. What I appreciated most was how she made small conversation with me during certain procedures—it genuinely helped lower my anxiety. I really hate going to the dentist because of the pain and how uncomfortable dental procedures can feel, but Maggie did an excellent job calming me down and making the experience much more manageable. That alone means a lot to me. This visit was at the Aspen Dental location on Overland in Boise, Idaho, and because of Maggie, I’ll be making this my permanent location—as long as she continues working there. Highly recommend her.

I had a great experience with Maggie, the dental hygienist at Aspen Dental. She was incredibly professional, gentle, and thorough throughout the entire appointment. Maggie took the time to explain what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, which really helped put me at ease. Her attention to detail and care really stood out, and my teeth have never felt cleaner. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her patients. If you’re looking for a hygienist who is both skilled and personable, I highly recommend Maggie. She made what could be a routine visit a genuinely positive experience.

Maggie and Daizy were amazing, they were extremely detailed and thorough and were extremely knowledgeable. They talked me through everything and made me feel really comfortable. I usually feel nervous going to the dentist but I would definitely go back to this aspen dental.

Two things stand out from this visit: the extraction was fast and painless — genuinely well done. Everything leading up to the procedure and after it was not. Minimal topical anesthetic was applied to my gums or cheek before the novocaine injections by your assistant and none were applied by you — a routine step that most oral health professionals consider standard care. [My most recent experience prior to this visit by another DDS was painless]. Skipping this procedure had real consequences: the injections were acutely painful, causing me to jerk back involuntarily, cry out, and suffer a throbbing pain in the back of my head for several minutes. I have never had a more excruciating administration of novocaine including the removal of impacted wisdom teeth years ago. What was not skipped: collecting full payment before the procedure began. That priority was made very clear. But seemingly pain management is not a priority as it took five phone calls to the office and ultimately to you directly after hours to receive the Rx for pain medication that had been promised. I would not return to this practice. I would not recommend it. And I will be contacting the referring dentist (who probably receives a kick-back) to share my experience, as I believe patients deserve to make informed decisions before being sent here.

My experience here felt more like being pressured at a used car dealership than receiving honest dental care. Expensive treatment was presented in a way that made it seem essential, even though I did not feel it was clearly explained why it was necessary for my actual dental health. The emphasis on financing made the whole interaction feel sales-driven and predatory. I came in expecting professional guidance and left feeling like I had been targeted for a payment plan. Dental patients should be given clear explanations, honest urgency levels, and the freedom to make informed decisions without pressure. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major treatment or financing through this office.
