Don't expect honesty from this guy if it conflicts with his referral network. I booked a consult with Baron when my orthodontic treatment took a turn for the worse and I started to see significant gum recession (and my orthodontist was gaslighting me). At our visit Baron told me I had significant recession on all my teeth and serious bone loss (>30%) in my maxilla. He was very concerned, and was rankled when my orthodontist resisted sending him an x-ray. He told me he would contact me in a week or so with some findings and recommendations after he had time to review my case. Oh how things changed! What happened instead is that he wrote a report to my general dentist that mentioned none of those things and that recommended continuing the orthodontic treatment. Meanwhile, he had had a consult with my orthodontist (evident on my orthodontic records) where he agreed to extraction of several teeth as a course of treatment. Evidently protecting other dentists from the truth is more important than honesty, integrity and patient health. Dr. Hong and his assistant, Katie are great. I had gum grafts and a growth inside my check removed. They explained everything clearly, took before and after photos and there was no pain. They provided great after care instructions. The results were really good. Many thanks!!
