Dr. Yip and her staff are top-notch. The best dental experience I’ve ever had, hands down. From the moment you walk in, you know this is going to be as pleasant of a dental experience as you’re going to get. Dr Yip performs excellent work, ensures that you are not in any discomfort, and is a pleasure to work with. I actually look forward to my dental appointments now. No joke.

Our whole family has been going to Dr. Yip for about 15 years. She is an incredibly skilled and aware dentist who has always kept us well and comfortable. She never missed diagnosing a problem and has always treated us with perfect care, great sensitivity, and good humor. We have recommended others to her and they have had the same experience. Her whole staff is just as superb.

I love Dr. Yip! She has been my dentist for 25 years. Over the years I've had crowns and fillings. Dr. Yip has been proactive in diagnosing problems that needed to be dealt with right away and procedures that could wait awhile. I have never felt any pain during any procedure. I had a pre-crown appointment today and had 2 shots. Dr. Yip warned me that one of the shots might hurt but it did not. She is excellent at preparing the area so that there is minimal discomfort. Her office staff, dental assistants, and dental hygienists are all professional, friendly, and excellent at their jobs. It's apparent when walking into the office that it is a place where people are respected and treated well. Lastly, Dr. Yip has done a remarkable job at ensuring that staff and patients are protected from exposure to Covid. The office is spotless, all staff are masked and those working directly with patients wear an N95 mask with another mask on top and then also wear a plastic screening over the masks. Patients are given hand sanitizers and have their temperatures and pulses taken prior to any procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Yip and her practice for anyone needing dental care.

Dr. Yip is a fantastic dentist! She is very knowledgeable. She cares deeply about each patient individually, taking time to find out how you are, what is affecting you, etc. She treats all of the technicians, office staff, the same way. Everyone is upbeat. The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming. And now with COVID 19, they have gone above and beyond the requirements to ensure the safety and well being of all of the patients and staff.

Dr. Yip is truly the best dentist I have ever visited. I have incredibly bad teeth (I blame genetics), and Dr. Yip has taken great care of all of my issues, even giving me lifestyle tips to avoid future cavities and improve my oral health. Dr. Yip and all of her assistants have a wonderful chair-side manner and overall, the harrowing experience of visiting the dentist is made as easy and comfortable as possible in this office.

Dr. Yip is an outstanding dentist. I have been her patient for 25 years, starting soon after she started in the profession. Besides doing great work, she is wonderful in terms of pain management, and has a warm, open personality with a great sense of humor. I started life with a great set of teeth, but took this for granted and didn't take good care of them for a long time. As a result, I ended up needing a lot of work. Dr. Yip has a very proactive but not judgemental way of advising people like me about proper dental hygene. When I started seeing Dr. Yip all those years ago, she was in first story walk-in offices on Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley. A few years ago she moved down the street to much larger, nicer digs with all new everything, renovated space, new furniture, artwork, equipment. Everything else was the same, I'm glad to say. The same friendly, relaxed atmosphere, the same happy employees, and the same great dentist.

Dr. Yipp has essentially destroyed all phobias I once held about the dentist. All of her staff are so welcoming, professional and warm. Dr. Yipp herself is funny, lighthearted, but insanely good at her job. I have never been disappointed with the quality of work (going on like 6 or 7 fillings!), the results of the "homework" she assigns (mouth guards, different flossing regimens etc), and overall improvement of my dental health/hygiene. Thank you for all of your help with my pearly whites!!
