Total Health Dental Care - Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley

I’ve been coming here for years.The staff is very kind, thorough, accurate and honest. When I was unemployed a few years ago and had to rely on government-provided healthcare, while the medical caregivers were absolutely exemplary and wonderful, the dentists on that plan suggested I needed treatments totaling thousands of dollars. When I came back to THD in Berkeley, I asked about what was recommended previously by the Medi-Cal dentists, and they said, "No, your teeth are perfectly fine. You didn’t need any of those treatments." Honesty has value to me.

I always have a great experience at Total Dental Care. The customer service sets the standard — friendly, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Dr. Jessica is outstanding; she’s caring, thorough, and makes every visit stress-free. You genuinely feel well taken care of here.

Amazing women get things done. My experience with Dr. Ngo and her staff was well worth changing dentists. From dealing with a patient who was upset from his previous experience, calming him down and finding a solution to the problem is worth every penny spent. From the virtual assistant to the office manager to the assistant to the doctor was seamless. A very professional staff from top to bottom. More than happy to keep my business here for the foreseeable future.

Dr. Jessica is knowledgeable and gives the best shots ever. The staff are kind and helpful and efficient. Diane does an incredibly thorough job cleaning my teeth. She routinely checks which procedures have been completed, which are planned and which teeth are marked for "keeping an eye on".

Diane makes the experience great only go here because of her I have followed her to many offices and if she were ever to leaves I will follow her again. I especially liked that the dentist was not in the office made it more pleasant

When I first arrived, I met a very knowledgeable and kind young lady named Chusang. Immediately I felt at ease. Throughout she guided me through everything that was to occur the first day. Then I was taken into a room and Sophia checked me out, took X-rays, and cleaned my teeth so perfectly! She was thorough as well as gentle. Like the entire staff, she was funny and kind as well. Then Dr Jessica came in and I can’t say enough positive things about her. This experience has been amazing in comparison to any other dental office, I have visited. I would highly recommend this office! ( I don’t see me going anywhere else). They didn’t tell me I needed $10,000 worth of work. They just showed me the things that needed to be fixed, explained everything, and I am very pleased. They also offer their own plan besides my dental insurance, and it’s wonderful! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Finally found a dentist office that is clean, well organized, and friendly! Almost a shame that I don’t have to visit this place more often since Chusang is absolutely lovely and professional. I’d recommend this place to anyone that needs to switch/find a new dentist!! Sophia, my hygienist, was wonderful as well and did an amazing job with my cleaning 🙂
