We have been waiting close to an hour with no end in sight. The reason given is that they were unable to verify my insurance. This is particularly frustrating because both my regular dentist and orthodontist have never had any difficulty verifying the same insurance. What makes this situation worse is the process itself. Insurance information is collected at the time of booking, yet verification apparently isn't done until the day before the appointment. If there was an issue verifying coverage, the logical next step would have been to contact me so it could be resolved before I arrived. That call was never made. As a result, my daughter and I are now sitting here well past our scheduled time, with work and other obligations waiting. As someone with multiple allergies (including latex concerns), this was especially alarming. I hope the office reviews its medication and allergy verification procedures to prevent this happening to another patient. How can I trust a dental surgeon with my care if he makes that sort of mistake? I'd rather live in pain than go back. He also was willing to extract the tooth right then and there with no safety factors available to get me home. I was willing to do a nerve kill and a temporary filling until I could get the help I needed. Al llegar no me atendieron. Noté que la recepcionista estaba al teléfono y me quedé allí esperando a que terminara su llamada. Después de colgar, igual no me hizo caso. Así que me senté pensando que quizá estaba ocupada y me llamaría cuando estuviera disponible. Me senté y seguí esperando sin que me dirigieran ni una sola palabra. Entró otro cliente y en cuanto cruzó la puerta lo atendieron y procedieron a ayudarlo. Yo llegué puntual a mi cita y esperé con paciencia, solo para que me ignoraran. En mi opinión, esto es un servicio al cliente pésimo. En ningún momento fui grosero. Simplemente me levanté y me fui. Sin duda, llevaré mi negocio a otro lado. I noticed that the receptionist was on the phone and stood there to wait until she was done with her call. After she was done she still did not acknowledge me. So I sat down believing she may busy and will call me up when she's available. Sat down and waited with still no acknowledgment whatsoever. Another customer walked in and as soon as he walks in gets acknowledged and proceeded to assist him. I arrived on time for my appointment and waited patiently only to be ignored. In my opinion this is horrible customer service. In no way shape or form was I rude. I just got up and walked out. Will definitely take my business elsewhere. She makes sure you are not in any pain, and that you are okay throughout the procedure. Root canals are not fun, but she took a stressful situation and made it comfortable.
