Tengo fobia al dentista y me sorprendió gratamente lo relajado que me hicieron sentir. El check-in y el check-out fueron ambos sencillos y fáciles, algo que siempre valoro porque a nadie le gusta que su cita dental venga con una misión secundaria. Check-in and check-out were both simple and easy, which I always appreciate because nobody wants their dental appointment to come with a side quest. I also never have to wait long here. In fact, Dr. Pelton apologized for keeping me waiting, and I remember thinking, "Waiting? Ma’am, I have waited longer for my coffee." The X-ray process was quick, comfortable, and clearly explained. I knew exactly what was happening, which is always nice when various dental equipment is being aimed at your face. The hygienist was wonderful — thorough, kind, and great about explaining what she was doing as she went along. Everything she said made sense, and I really appreciated that. Dr. Pelton also did a very thorough checkup. One thing I consistently appreciate about this office is that the staff asks thoughtful questions about any issues, concerns, sensitivities, or health factors that might affect my care, and they actually listen to the answers. They asked about my diabetes, sensitivities, and being immune compromised, which made me feel like they were looking at the full picture, not just treating me like a set of teeth that happened to bring the rest of me along. Another thing I absolutely love about Willamette Dental is that they are not salesy. They may offer recommendations, and they have products available at the counter, but I never feel like anyone is trying to upsell me into some luxury floss subscription or convince me my molars need a premium membership. In fact, they sent me home with a toothbrush, dental floss, and samples, which was very appreciated. The office is always clean, easy to find, easy to park at, and comfortable to wait in — not that I ever have to wait long enough to really settle in and start emotionally investing in the waiting room furniture. No single person stood out because everyone I interacted with was great.
