Kevin T. Maskell D.M.D., Dental Arts of Tucson

I'm from MN and had a dental emergency and the wonderful endodontist recommended Dr Kevin Maskell. He was so wonderful and gentle knowing my dental anxiety. The staff was so wonderful and Mary rearranged appointments to fit me in to do the crown for my emergency root canal. They knew I had a very limited amount of time to get it done and they helped me out of a real bad spot. They were all so wonderful I can't say enough good things about them!

I have had a lot of dental trauma in my life that has made going to the dentist very hard for me. However, my wife started going to Dental Arts of Tucson and she booked me a cleaning about 2 years ago and have been going ever since. I had a lot of dental work that needed to be done, Dr. Maskell and his staff treated me with respect and dignity that I found lacking in other dental businesses. I still need a lot of work, but have been getting that work done here and will continue to have that work done here. I cannot recommend this establishment enough, I am so relieved to have found a professional, confident, and competent team to get me back on track. Top to bottom excellent experience.

Dr. Maskell is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled dentist. I had a recent dental emergency and I couldn’t ask for a more accommodating and comforting experience. The office is conveniently located and feels clean, professional and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend.

Dr Haskell and his staff are terrific. The exam and cleaning were thorough, gentle, and informative. I appreciate the absence of any upsell pitches or tactics. Ease of scheduling, coordination of prior records, friendliness, professionalism, and a genuinely caring attitude also contributed to my complete confidence in having chosen the right dentist for myself and family.

Dr. Maskell is fantastic! I broke off part of a tooth, and didn’t have a dentist I regularly go to. His office staff got me an emergency appointment, and he calmly analyzed the problem, determined the best course of treatment, and repaired my tooth perfectly. He explained every step of the procedure, asked several times if I was doing okay, and when he was finished showed me pictures of the before and after to explain what he had done. His dental assistant and his office manager were equally great! I’m going to establish regular care with him now.

Dr. Markell is very thorough and capable. The issue I am writing about is his billing. I had a toothache and had new insurance that I presented to his receptionist. However, I wasn’t informed they don’t accept my insurance until after my appointment was finished. I received a bill for $505.04. I paid $300 and asked Dr.Maskell’s office if they could adjust the balance since I didn’t know until the work was done that my insurance was not accepted. They only took $30 off my bill. I wasn’t requesting free service by any means, but would have appreciated a little more consideration in adjusting the bill. Had I known prior to services being rendered, I would have looked for a dentist that participated in my plan.

Dr. Maskell is one of a kind, he gives the most thorough exams . Dr. Maskell explains everything in great detail he takes his time and is honest and trustworthy . I highly recommend Dental Arts. The team is very friendly , efficient and informative. You will be very pleased to be a patient at this office .
