Ambas citas que tuve con el dentista, tuve que esperar porque la técnica y el doctor llegaban tarde. Me obligaron a hacerme 2 limpiezas en un mes o el doctor no me vería. Luego, la Dra. Berry me dijo que tenía 4 caries, y que tendría que quitarme un empaste viejo y ponerme una **CROWN** en el diente, solo por la corona me cobraron $500. La Dra. I was forced to get 2 cleanings in a month or the doctor wouldn't see me. Then, Dr Berry told me I had 4 cavities, and she would have to remove an old filling and put a CROWN on my tooth, $500 just for the crown. Dr Berry actually cancelled an appointment on ME because I was five minutes late to my cleaning, even though I still had to wait in the waiting room because the tech wasn't even ready!!! Unprofessional, lie about what it actually needed because they are trying to just make money. I went to Dr Saini on Taft Road and she basically told me I had 2 cavities that needed filling, and I definitely did NOT need a crown. She put a new crown on that kept falling off repeatedly in the 1st year. Come to find out, she filed my real tooth down so small that a crown could no longer hold on it. After going back to have said crown cemented on 4-5x in the first year, I was told I needed a dental implant which costed me over $5k in addition to the crown. Another crown done by Dr. Berry has since fallen off in less than 2 years time. ¡MENOS MAL QUE EXISTE LA DR. BERRY! Me hicieron varios procedimientos con otro dentista y estuve con un dolor significativo durante meses. Llamé a la Dr. Berry y me atendió de inmediato (gracias también a Joanie). I had several procedures done by another dentist, and was in significant pain for months. I called Dr. Berry and she got me in right away (thanks to Joanie too). Dr. Berry took the time to show me what was wrong with the previous work done and explained to me in detail what she was going to do (also thank you Crystal!). I went back in and had extensive work done by Dr. Berry, which I didn't feel a thing. Post procedure, I finally was out of pain, and felt immediately better. I have nothing but good things to say about the office and the entire staff, who were professional, empathetic and did an excellent job. Pasados unos días, el dolor era insoportable. No podía comer ni dormir. Finalmente llamé a la línea de emergencia el sábado, 4 días después de la extracción, y el mensaje decía que me llamarían en 2 horas. No escuché nada hasta el día siguiente. Incluso entonces me dijeron que esperara hasta el martes porque el Dr. Barry no estaría hasta entonces. ¿De qué sirve tener una línea de emergencia si no está monitoreada y te dicen que esperes hasta que el doctor esté en... Fui el martes y pregunté si era un alveolo seco porque había estado desesperadamente buscando en Google cómo detener el dolor. Ella me dijo que la herida estaba curada y que estaba apretando los dientes y necesitaba comprar una férula de $300 para ayudar con el dolor. La vi menos de 5 minutos. Me fui y compré una férula nocturna de $20 en Walgreens, que no ayudó. La semana siguiente mi novio tenía una cita y mencioné que seguía con dolor, y la otra dentista echó un vistazo. Ella dijo que era solo un procedimiento difícil y que tardaría en sanar. Para entonces había perdido 10 libras en dos semanas porque no podía abrir la boca para comer, y mucho menos masticar algo. Decidí ir a otro dentista hoy y él descubrió que efectivamente era un alveolo seco lleno de detritos. Vendó la herida y ya me siento mucho mejor. El hecho de que DOS dentistas no pudieran darse cuenta después de múltiples visitas es absolutamente inaceptable para mí. Me dejaron con un dolor insoportable durante dos semanas y no me hicieron caso. Era un problema simple que se habría resuelto fácilmente si simplemente hubieran prestado atención en lugar de ignorarme. No recomendaría ir aquí para una extracción. No estoy segura, pero no volveré.I've never written a review before but my experience here was so horrendous that it needs to be shared to hopefully prevent this happening to others. I originally was very impressed with the staff and the technology at my first appointment. I came back to get my wisdom tooth out and that's where the problems started. I was never told what was actually going to happen during the procedure. The procedure itself was incredibly painful. I have a small jaw and I felt like they were going to pull my joint apart. When I mentioned this, I was ignored. After the procedure I did everything they told me to take care of the wound. After a couple days I was in unbearable pain. I couldn't eat or sleep. I finally called the emergency line on Saturday, 4 days after the extraction, and the recording said they'd call back in 2 hours. I didn't hear anything until the next day. Even then they told me to wait until Tuesday because Dr. Barry wouldn't be in until then. What's the point of having an emergency line if it's not monitored and you tell your patients to wait until the doctor is in.... So I went in on Tuesday and asked if it was a dry socket because I had been desperately googling trying to figure out how to stop the pain. She told me the wound was healed and that I was clenching my teeth and needed to buy a $300 bite guard to help my pain. I saw her for less than 5 minutes. I left and got a $20 night guard at Walgreens which didn't help. The next week my boyfriend had an appointment so I mentioned I was still in pain and the other dentist took a look at it. She said it was just a rough procedure and would take time to heal. At this point I had lost 10 pounds in two weeks because I can't open my mouth to eat let alone chew anything. I decided to go to another dentist today and he found that it indeed was a dry socket packed with debris. He dressed the wound and I already feel much better. The fact that TWO dentists couldn't figure that out after multiple visits is absolutely unacceptable to me. They left me in unbearable pain for two weeks and wouldn't listen to me. It was a simple problem that would have easy to solve if they had just paid attention instead of dismissing me. I would not recommend going here for an extraction. My boyfriend however had fillings done and had a fine experience. So maybe they're just inexperienced with oral surgery. I'm not sure but I will not be returning.Comentario traducidoVer original
