I’ve had multiple visits at Modern Family Dental Sunnyvale, and every experience has been outstanding. Dr. Hao Tran, DMD, is an exceptional dentist—highly professional, incredibly skilled, and remarkably precise. He never rushes, and his calm, thoughtful approach truly shows in the quality of his work. I was initially seen in an emergency situation, and the care I received set the tone for everything that followed. My crown preparation and installation were impressively smooth and completely painless. I was genuinely amazed that I experienced no gum discomfort at all, both after the temporary cap and again a week later when the permanent crown was placed. Dr. Tran has excellent manners and a rare sense of humanity—he treats his patients with real respect and care. The staff is consistently courteous and attentive, and the facility is clean, well kept, and welcoming. I used to dread dental visits, but Dr. Tran changed that entirely. I now trust him completely and recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Tran is awesome and so is his entire staff! Very professional and attentive. His consultative approach put patients' mind at ease. When my crown fell off while I was having lunch in San Francisco, he and his assistant waited after-hours in their clinic in Sunnyvale for me to arrive so they can fix the issue. This was my first visit here, and I decided to come based on all the great reviews — I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly. When they called my name, it felt like they had known me for years, which was such a nice change from my previous dentist’s office where they never seemed to remember me. Connie did my cleaning, and she was wonderful — very gentle and thorough. For the first time ever, I had a cleaning with no bleeding, which was amazing. Afterward, Dr. Tran checked my teeth, gums, and screened for any oral diseases. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable and cared for. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I’ll definitely be recommending this office to my friends and family!

They were very accommodating when I needed a last-minute appointment to fix something sharp in my mouth. Their entire team is kind, responsive, fast, and dependable. I recommend them highly!

This place deserves more than 5 stars. From the front desk, to the dental hygienist to the Dr. This place overall has been the best Dental office I've been to in my life.
