Worst experience here. Front desk was incompetent and didn't bother to check my insurance but told me I was fine to make an appt (she even told me she kept forgetting to write down my ins number so I should've known she never checked my insurance), only to find out later I was stuck with a bill that I had to pay for and NEVER ONCE GOT A SINGLE APOLOGY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. If you want to be scammed by the dr and staff, this is the place to go.

I've been going to Smiles of Skokie for over 25 years and they have been consistent, helpful, professional, and caring. I haven't lived in Skokie since 2000, but I still make the 45 minute drive there twice a year. Dr. McWhinnie is the real deal! I wouldn't trust my teeth with anyone else.

A pleasure as always! It's like family in that office! Dr Dave is the most gentle and thorough dentist. He also taught me about water flossing which changed everything for me. When I first went to him several years ago I had nine cavities. And I haven't had a cavity in years, because of Dr Dave teaching me proper oral hygiene.

Most people hate going to the dentist, I love visiting Dr. McWhinnie at Smiles of Skokie, his staff is proffesional and friendly. I l have been going there for over 10 years and I have never had a bad experience.

Dr. Dave is the best! He does a great job and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. He is so informative, kind and courteous. He does what is right for his patients and he really knows what he is doing. His dental assistant Irena is amazing as well. Couldn't ask for a better dentist. 5 stars!

Dr McWhinnie is absolutely the best! He will take care of you when needed. Just did a crown for my implant. Fantastic work as always! He’s the best!
