I have been thoroughly pleased with the care that I have received from Dr. Kim and his team. They take their time and do thorough assessments, are very knowledgeable, and share useful information each time I visit. I have also been impressed with the front desk staff, especially Adrian. Adrian reviewed an estimate for my care, and even called me back with updates when he received them. The communication has been fantastic, and if I wasn’t moving out of the area, I would be staying with them for a very long time!

Dr. Kim is super friendly and is very professional at the same time. He makes me feel very comfortable during office visits. He uses the most conservative methods for treatment of large dental issues which I have recently been very satisfied with. His team of assistant dental professionals are A++. I will miss Dr. Stan Konrad as he was my one and only Dentist for over 45 years. Dr. Kim has been doing a good job of filling in Dr. Konrads shoes.

We’ve been living in the area for about four years and have tried three different dental clinics before finding this one, and each time there was some level of disappointment, whether it was the quality of cleanings or feeling pressured into cosmetic changes we didn’t want. This fourth attempt turned out to be a complete game changer. The staff was genuinely kind, and the atmosphere in the clinic felt warm and positive right away. The dental assistant who took my X-rays was very friendly and professional, which immediately set a great tone for the visit. The dentist, Dr. Kim, is extremely competent and attentive, and took the time to do a thorough initial assessment without any pressure or upselling, just clear, professional care. The hygienist, Deb, was also outstanding. She did a very meticulous cleaning, and provided thoughtful, practical advice that actually makes a difference moving forward. My two teenage children also went to the clinic and had nothing but a very positive experience. Overall, this clinic completely exceeded our expectations. We had almost assumed this level of care wasn’t available in the area. It’s honestly the best dental experience we’ve had.

Dr Kim is a great dentist! Very professional, respectful, and diligent. He and his team are very thorough, I can tell they care about what they do. Recently moved from the East Coast, and am happy to say I have found a great dentist!

I hadn't seen a dentist for a very long time and had multiple issues to deal with that would make most people feel embarrassed. Dr. David Kim didn't treat me any differently than any other patient. I felt very comfortable with these guys. Cynthia did my x rays and was very fast and efficient. Karen had done the cleaning , extremely thorough and happy to give advice for daily routines. Adrian was very pleasant at the front desk , making checkout extremely easy. I had been saving up to take care of my teeth for years and I'm extremely glad I made the decision to go with these guys.nFurther work very good experience.

I believe I have found my forever dentist! I have been searching for a dentist, and after reading the wonderful reviews, and finding out they take my insurance, I made an appointment. From the initial call with Adrian, who is kind, patient, and helpful, to the appointment set up, and then my first office visit, I was not disappointed! The wait time was minimal. The staff is welcoming, professional and caring. I'm embarrassed that I can't remember the gentleman's name that got me set up ( I was still very nervous), but he was wonderful. He explained what he was doing as he was setting me up to take X-rays, and was also very kind. They patiently listened to my concerns and needs, and I totally decompressed. Dr Kim and I were on the same page in regard to my dental needs. He patiently listened, and I feel like I will get the dental care outcome I am needing. I didn't even want to get a cleaning because of past experiences, but I asked for a numbing gel which my sister recommended using, and between that and my hygienist Karen, who is exceptional, I breezed right through it. Nothing like I thought it was going to be. Also, the billing was explained to me, which was extremely helpful, and reasonable. So if you are in need of a new dentist, do not walk, but run to A&O Dental San Mateo, and Dr Kim and staff.

First visit today was a tremendous success! Dr. Kim was very professional, friendly, gentle and helpful. The Dental Hygienist did a thorough cleaning and was very gentle also. Front office and other staff were all very friendly and efficient. Office was clean and orderly. No complaints. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely return. Thank you.
