Every person I met in the office (the receptionist, Dr Benjamin Johnson, and Dental Hygienist Emily) was courteous, friendly, and professional. They really took the time necessary to do everything right and as a new patient took the time to get to know me and my dental history. Dr Johnson took the time fully go over my dental health, and presented options for my continued dental care. All this was done in a professional and positive manner. I appreciate that they didn't try to sell me services that I didn't need like other dentist offices. By far the best dental experience I’ve had in a long time. Great staff and great location. I am impressed by their quality of service. Highly recommended.

Concerns Regarding Billing and Charging Practices: I chose Acre Wood Dental in Round Rock after carefully reviewing online feedback, as my dentist of over 15 years had recently retired. Before scheduling, I confirmed with both my insurance provider and the office that a routine cleaning would be covered. The visit itself was straightforward, and I was told there would be no charges. However, I later received a bill for special X-rays. After speaking with my insurance company, I learned the office had billed for a specialized type of X-ray that is only covered once every 5 years. This was not communicated beforehand, and the provider should have verified coverage prior to performing it during a very routine cleaning. My wife experienced the exact same issue at the same location, despite having a completely different insurance plan. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend looking for an alternate office or absolutely confirm all procedures and coverage details, possibly up to the procedure code level in advance to avoid unexpected charges.

My hygienist, Emily, is personable and skillful in her trade. Additionally, even though I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Edward, he took the time to talk with me in the lobby before my appointment. I appreciated his personable disposition which appears to be a trademark of this branch.

Look I have never been a fan of going to any doctor/ dentist. I get such anxiety even thinking about sitting in the chair. But the staff and dentist were just so dang enjoyable you can't help but feel calm and at ease. Thank you so much for today they got me in with a quickness and the way they explain everything lord! Just stellar service all around.

I had a crown come loose and needed to get it rebonded. The dentist and staff did a great job of getting me in quickly and thy were very thorough and efficient at my visit. I highly recommend Acre Wood for all your dental care!
