Flower City Dental Of Gates

I have been a patient with Dr. Christie and his amazing assistant, Miss Patty for 2-3 years. I have a history of trauma with many dental providers in the past. This team always makes me feel comfortable and honest, always answer my many questions with honesty and integrity. All of my teeth except one are crowned. I am finally very happy with my smile! I highly recommend Flower City Dental, both the Gates and East Rochester locations. Bonus: these professionals always calm my anxiety with humor. They are hilarious 😂 Lisa Lombardo, RN

Came to this location after my root canal & was welcomed so kindly by the staff. Returned after a few years of neglect to my teeth & once again were met with nothing but kindness & professionalism. They gave me confidence back! Thank you to all the staff on my visit 9/16. Super easy going and judgement free. The dentists usually give me anxiety however I left today excited to come back. 10/10 recommend.

I go to the Gates location and it is really interesting to me because I have gone to the same primary doctor's office since I was two years old and feel less known or comfortable than I do at Flower City Dental. I have the biggest nerves when it comes to the dentist and the staff is so welcoming and accommodating and always respond quickly. The atmosphere is very settling and I honestly always leave with a smile. I actually used to dread dentist visits and now I look forward to seeing my girls Carla and Patti with their amazing positive attitudes and obvious compassion.

I had my first appointment with Flower City in Gates. The staff was amazing. The dentist was very thorough and Patty the dental assistant is amazing! She got me through some tough X-rays with ease. Carla at the front desk was so helpful. I can’t say enough about this team! Would definitely recommend them!

The staff was warm and welcoming. Patty and Clare met me with energy and a smile. Being in a dentist office for the first time in years, they were helpful and nice knowing it was going to be a rough visit. They were accepting and polite throughout the procedure. My dentist was very pleasant being very aware of my pain tolerance and not pushing things to let me settle back in. The staff and facilities are top notch and made this the best experience I could of hoped for.

Tried to book an appointment with them. I found them through my insurance. I sent them an email asking if I can book online. I went to their website and filled out the new patient forms. They replied and just asked for a birthday to confirm thay my birthday was correct so they could access the new patient form. Then they say that they can't help me online because im already a patient. Even though iv never been there. And have only lived here for about a year. They said I had to call them to book an appointment. The problem is that they are only open 9-5 and that's the only time they take calls. I work nights and those are my sleeping hours. So I just wanted to get an appointment set up through email. I didnt have a problem with getting an appointment during the day. I can adjust my schedule if I can plan for it. But its not cool making me get up during my sleeping hours just to call them for something thay could easily be done over email. Especially after making me fill out all that info for the new patient form. Super lame.

I am loving my experience here at Flower City Dental. I had basically no experience with the dentist and came in with lots of anxiety and work that needed to be done. The team here has been so wonderful especially Patty who is so kind and supportive. She has helped me calm my fears and also encourage me through the whole process. Dr. Somerville is a very nice dentist who is efficient yet gentle. He explains what he is doing and when so I am not surprised when it happens. Overall I am very happy that I chose Flower City Dental and would recommend it to others!
