If I could give Rio Dental more than five stars, I would. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is kind, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. Dr. Gonzales is wonderfully careful and considerate, doing everything possible to make every visit as comfortable as a dental appointment can be. But the real rockstar of this office is Selena, the office manager. We recently ran into a tricky situation where we needed to fully utilize our FSA funds within about a month, and Selena absolutely came through for us. She coordinated with our insurance, juggled the schedule, and got us booked for the multiple appointments we needed, all before the deadline. What could have easily been a stressful, money-on-the-line scramble became something completely manageable, simply because she cared enough to make it work. That kind of attentiveness and problem-solving is rare, and it speaks volumes about the culture at Rio Dental. If you're in Rio Rancho and looking for a dental office where you'll feel genuinely cared for, this is the place. Thank you, Selena and the entire Rio Dental team!

Absolute BEST hygienist and dentist! I had a hard time finding a hygienist for a cleaning and the reviews to this place don’t lie. I scheduled an appointment as a new patient, they scheduled me for an exam and a cleaning and Cassie was amazing and very knowledgeable with explaining everything going on with my gums. Dr. Gonzales was also a breath of fresh air, considering I’ve not had the best experience with previous dentists. Finally got established with a great dentistry! Thank you all!

My hygenist did a great job. She was fast and professional. The problem I had came after the cleaning. I waited more than 30 minutes for the dentist to come in and he never came in to complete the exam. I had to go back to work and had to leave. My total time at the office was an hour and most of it was sitting around.
