Natalie, the dental hygienist at Redmond Modern Dentistry is wonderful! She recently worked with my adult son, who is on the autism spectrum, and she was absolutely fabulous. Finding healthcare professionals who approach patients with true empathy, patience, and understanding can be a challenge, but Natalie was amazing. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and created a calm, high-comfort environment that made all the difference for him. If you are looking for a skilled hygienist who brings genuine compassion and a gentle touch to her work, I highly recommend asking for Natalie.

First time @ Redmond Modern Dentistry & it was awesome 😎. Tyler at the front desk was extremely helpful & make check in go smoothly. Additionally, May was very kind and friendly and helped my appointment go easily. The entire office was very clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more comfortable. Dr. Manning is one of the friendliest dentists I’ve ever seen and communicates exceptionally well. He was very kind and provided clear, helpful guidance on the next steps for taking care of my teeth. Melissa, the office manager helped me understand all my insurance information & billing processes, and was very friendly throughout it all. Everyone was super helpful, kind, and welcoming. I would go out of my way to come to this office!

What a wonderful day I'm having! You might wonder if I realize this is a review for a dentist office and rest assured I'm fully aware! 😉 I just had the pleasure of meeting 3 new people at Redmond Modern Dentistry. Tyler greeted me with a smile and efficiency at the front desk, something that sets the stage for a positive dental experience! Then Ashlee came and brought me to the back--as soon as we started talking I was so grateful to have her as my hygienist!:) She not only was very compassionate and super friendly but was extremely gentle yet fully competent and thorough. She's so sweet, too! Finally, Dr. Manning is a very down to earth and personable dentist who made fast work of my dental exam. He answered my questions and didn't rush me or make me feel like just another patient. All 3 of these awesome people are true assets to Redmond Modern Dentistry and I'm so pleased that I had them as my team this morning. 🙂

Dr Shah and Julie are the best! I’ve been seeing Dr Shah for about 5 years now and will never switch. They are so gentle with my teeth and I no longer have dentist anxiety. All of the employees are always so nice and welcoming! Such a great standard is set here. You will love it!

Everyone is nice and well mannered, but they really, really push you to do extra work that's not covered by insurance. Even if you say no they put a lot of pressure on you to reconsider. For context, I have healthy teeth, gums, and habits, and my current and past dentist both agree with this. I wouldn't skip dental work if I needed it, mouth health is important to me. I last saw Redmond Modern about a year ago and I had to switch because of the pressure for unecessary work. They are overly cautious, and pushy about the precautions they want to take. I was nervous every time I went in because I knew I'd have to argue with the front desk, hygenist, and dentist about whatever unecessary test or procedure or rinse they wanted to do that day, which is exhausting and stressful to have to do when you just want your teeth cleaned. I wanted to just have faith that they had my best interests in mind, but they spent more time talking about billing than anything else. When you are in the chair for a cleaning, and then they pull up a monitor with new prices on it to sell you something, you'll know what I mean. I waited a year to leave a review to see how I felt, and I still feel bad about how pushy they were the 5 times I went in, hence this review. Get a second opinion if you go here and they start suggesting bacteria tests, rinses, and lasers.

I am TERRIFIED of dentists and, after having no insurance or care for more than a decade, I was so worried about both pain and judgment. I literally sat in the car for ten minutes before my first appointment trying to psych myself up to even walk in the door. Extremely happy to say after three visits here I have left with exactly zero pain and feel more supported by this team than any dentist I've ever had. All of the assistants are professional and personable (Veronika was especially kind, supportive and patient with me through xrays which have been totally humiliating in the past because I am a violent gagger lol). I was so dreading the dental cleaning that I cried before my appointment, and Natalie was so reassuring and explained all my options for pain management/what to expect the entire time. For the first time in my life I had a dental cleaning that did not hurt at all, even though it was a deep clean to get a handle on periodontal disease AND I only had topical anesthetic. My mouth genuinely feels and looks SO MUCH BETTER even though I've only been here a month. I see the other reviews where people talk about cost and that's obviously a real concern, but this is also the only office-- medical OR dental-- that has sat down with me (thank you Junnie!) to discuss costs, the way billing codes work and the best ways to afford care. We aren't a wealthy family and in my experience a lot of those high costs come back to bite you unexpectedly-- woo poverty!-- but here everything is very clear and I have outright heard them advocating for their patients to insurance on the phone. This did not happen at my last office, and in an effort to appear "affordable" they just kicked the can down the road to more expensive treatment in the future and more pain. But for the first time I have an actual plan and treatment goals!! Never thought I would ever be happy to see my dental team. Thank you guys for the healing experiences, both dentally and mentally lol
