Overall I’ve been coming here for about a year, and I genuinely love this office. I would absolutely recommend Essence of Dentistry to anyone in the Redmond area. Providers and Care Dr. Amy, Dr. Hans, and Dr. Amanda are all excellent - knowledgeable, professional, and consistently great in both service and delivery. I’ve always felt truly cared for here, which is exactly what I want from a dental office. Professionalism and Consistency The quality is consistently high. They’re thorough, clear, and take the time to do things right. It’s the kind of place where you feel confident you’re in good hands. Scheduling and Efficiency They’re good with rescheduling when needed and are most of the time on schedule, which I really appreciate. The experience feels organized without feeling rushed. Staff and Atmosphere The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. From a patient perspective, it also seems like the team is treated well, and that usually shows up in the service. Office Updates They recently went through some construction a couple months ago, and the updates look great - especially nice for an office that’s been established for a while. Recommendation Highly recommend if you want a dental team that combines skill, professionalism, and genuine care.

Had my very first appointment today and I was so blown away by how everyone was so friendly and welcoming! The staff here are so kind and explained everything to me! The hygienist, Helena (I hope that’s her name) was so knowledgeable and explained everything in such detail as to what she was doing and why it’s important! Dr. Han is so kind and walked me through my x-rays with such detail, it was amazing! Thank you to the whole team!!! Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed!

Dr Alison Han is exceptional. Not only is she an expert in the functional bite, she listens and cares about her patients, and is good at explaining procedures. She recalls previous cases and latest research in giving advice, and I trust that her recommendations are for the good of my oral health. I feel fortunate that Dr Alison is my point person that I can consult when considering other procedures and further surgeries. I had a bad experience with my previous orthodontist and dentist who downplayed issues I was having with their treatment. I came to her upon recommendation of a colleague of hers in another city. She diagnosed the problem immediately and saw that it was urgent. The staff is always helpful and kind, in person and by phone. The hygienists are excellent and the office is clean and comfortable.

I’ve been a regular patient at Essence of Dentistry over the last few years. As I’ve come to realize, the primary reason for my loyalty was the amazing dental hygienist - Lisa Kohli (absolute 5-star worthy!). Her experience and love for her art showed in her care for her patients, and my cleaning sessions with her were always extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, Lisa is no longer with this practice - something I learned on my most recent visit. The experience without her was extremely sub-par and the practice-owner is all business, rushing thru the cleaning session and failing to inform me of added charges (fluoride treatment, etc.). There is no incentive to visit Essence of Dentistry anymore. I will be looking for a dentist closer to where I live now.
