Avondale smiles has been taking care of me and my family for 10+ years and I am amazed at the experience we've had. I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Even my teen boys, have said that it's "pretty good". trust me. that's a compliment. I also like that each time I have the same person doing the cleaning. Han is exceptional.

I have been a long-term patient at this dental clinic for several years, specifically for specialist dental care. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently poor, and I have finally decided to never return. 1. Lack of Professionalism & Negligence: Every time I visited for a check-up, the dentist was extremely careless and rushed. I never felt that my dental health was being thoroughly examined; it felt like they were just going through the motions. 2. Poor Technical Quality: The quality of their work is unacceptable. I had several crowns done here, and they have repeatedly fallen off or failed for various reasons. For a "specialist" clinic, such basic structural failures are embarrassing and have caused me significant stress and discomfort. 3. Dismissive Attitude: What broke my trust completely was the dentist's reaction when I raised my concerns. When I expressed that I was deeply dissatisfied with the service and the failing dental work, the dentist remained completely indifferent. There was no attempt to offer a sincere re-diagnosis or take accountability for the repeated issues. Conclusion: After years of loyalty, I’ve realized that this clinic does not value its patients or take pride in its work. I am officially moving to a different provider and strongly advise others to avoid this clinic. Save your time, money, and dental health by going elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed. Despite being a long-term patient, I received nothing but careless exams and failing dental work (crowns constantly falling off). The dentist’s attitude is indifferent and unprofessional when confronted with these issues. Also front desk staffs are rude too, I will never return and strongly advise others to stay.

The doctor and hygienists are very good but the lady at the front desk (the one who handles insurance claims) sticks out like a sore thumb in the whole experience with this dentistry. She is forever grumpy, talks like she's perpetually upset with you and demonstrates no courtesy, making you feel completely unwelcome whenever you visit the place. That is the sole reason I am rating this a 4-star. Otherwise, I would rate it a 5-star.

I had a very disappointing experience at Avondale Smiles. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was unwelcoming and didn’t even check if I’d completed forms. This was my first appointment, and they had entered my date of birth incorrectly when booking, yet no verification happened. My appointment was at noon, but the dentist only saw me at 12:05 for about 5 minutes. I was there specifically for a gum issue, but the dentist didn’t conduct any meaningful examination. They insisted on needing X-rays but weren’t willing to wait or accept the immediate digital access I offered. The appointment was cut off at 12:10, just 10 minutes total, with no real help. I left feeling unheard and frustrated. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

I am not a fan of dentists, never have been, and get a fair amount of anxiety over going. Avondale Smiles has changed that for me, the hygienist, especially, is amazing - she’s gentle and cares about your experience as much as your teeth. The dentist and staff are great too, but I’ll be going back for the hygienist. Highly recommend!
