South Waterfront Dental

I have been coming here for over 10 years now, and Dr. Beck and the team have been great. I recently got an in-office teeth whitening for the first time in my life. The results were amazing: my teeth are noticeably whiter yet still very natural. I had mild sensitivity for about 24 hours. I highly recommend them!

I have not had a great history with other dentists; some skeptical when I say anesthesia is not strong enough, others who attempted to steer me toward unnecessary procedures, and even ignoring my assertion that a crown was ill fitting. Before starting treatment, Dr. Beck took the time to discuss my concerns and did an excellent job putting me at ease. His staff are capable and kind, and I always have as pleasant a time as possible when getting dental work. Dr. Beck is THE BEST! I cannot recommend him in strong enough terms.

I moved to Portland recently and needed to find a new dental practice and pretty fast. I had a concern about some of my teeth and South Waterfront Dental was able to get me an appointment the next week! Dr. Beck is very welcoming and makes you feel super comfortable. He is also very knowledgeable. One of hygienist there (forgot to ask her name), she’s blonde, is the most friendly person ever. She made my experience fantastic and efficient! I will be recommending this practice to those looking for a new dentist in the Portland area for sure.

I had my first appointment at South Waterfront Dental a couple of days ago and I was very happy with my visit! Chris and Tina did a great job with my X-rays, exam, and cleaning and made me feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Beck was also very kind and outlined my options for treatment clearly. I look forward to future appointments and cleanings at this office, which hasn’t always been my experience with other dentists in the past.

My first time at S. Waterfront was the week they reopened after Covid shutdowns and I was so impressed with everyone I came into contact with. Their procedures to keep everyone safe and sterile were comprehensive and made me feel at ease. Dr. Beck was friendly, compassionate and thorough in his examination. I especially enjoyed working with Allison, my dental hygienist. She walked me through every step of my cleaning and xrays (which were complex since I have not been to the dentist in almost 3 years), making sure I was comfortable and understood what she was doing and even why she was doing it. She was so knowledgeable and attentive. A huge thanks to all the staff here for giving such an incomparable first impression.

I love this dental office and I love that its in my neighborhood! The staff is very friendly and Dr Beck is very professional and down to earth! Christina at the front desk is great and greets you with a warm smile as soon as you walk in. No one likes going to the dentist, but the staff at this office makes you feel very welcomed! Kim, my hygienist was the best hygienist that has ever worked on me! She knows how to have a conversation, which is great for me because it makes time go by faster! She tells you what she is doing instead of just digging in your mouth! I love this dental office and my husband and I have found the perfect dentist for life!

I have been going to Dr Beck for around 10 years now. I trust him and his staff as they have always treated me right and taken superb care of my dental needs! I can't give them enough praise!
