I love this dentist office, especially Dr Turk and his usual team. They are so kind and attentive and they really care about their patients. I had to go back in this evening because I popped a temporary crown out and they fixed it promptly and with so much grace for me because it really was my fault it popped off, it about brought me to tears. I will always recommend this office

I have been going to Portsmouth Dental for 50+ years! The founding dentist and his dentist partner who subsequently joined him have ALWAYS been great providers, and, the new ones they have brought on are equally as good. The hygienists and the rest of the staff are also great. I highly recommend this dental practice!! BTW, for what it’s worth, I am a retired RN who practiced for 40+ years.

I have been a patient at Portsmouth Dental Care since 2025, and the level of professionalism and kindness has been consistent from day one. From the reception team who schedules appointments to the clinical staff, everyone treats you with respect and genuine care. Some people may say they are just doing their job. However, that level of care is not universal, and it certainly is not guaranteed everywhere. It is noticeable here. On February 14, 2026, I had an extensive dental appointment that required significant work. Dr. Aria, his assistant Ashley, and dental hygienist Esther took excellent care of me. They were not only professional, but they communicated clearly throughout the entire process. They explained each procedure, what to expect, and how to care for myself afterward. That transparency makes a real difference. Portsmouth Dental Care truly lives up to its name. The care begins with scheduling and continues all the way through treatment. I originally found Portsmouth Dental Care while living in Portland in 2025. Even though I have since moved to Vancouver, I will continue making the drive because of their consistency, professionalism, and the trust they have earned. Thank you to the entire team for the work you do and the way you do it.

I used to love going to Portsmouth dental but the quality of service has gone downhill. I got some Phil some cavities filled, and my teeth were still hurting after the cavities were filled, and they told me that is not my problem and one of the feelings now recently came out in addition the receptionist was extremely rude and anytime I went there because they have two buildings. I usually had to go to the other building and I had to wait long waits with arriving early.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had called in September and they found an appointment in November. I waited my two months and on the day of the appointment, I walked in and they said I didn't have an appointment. They said they had texted and called me. I checked my phone; no text, no missed call, no voice mail. They kept looking and finally after about 10 minutes they found they had registered me with the wrong phone number, off by two digits. Now, that's already a red flag....do I want people poking in my mouth if they can't get basic demographic information correct? Fine, they rescheduled to today, January 5. I am getting ready to leave for the appointment and they call me. "we have to cancel today because of illness." I really lost it, I told them they need to bump someone else and get me in as planned. She refused to cooperate. She offered a half-hearted apology and I told her I wanted an appointment, not an apology. After this second effort, I have written them off and would STRONGLY advise you find someone else. Their providers may be good but the front office staff sucks. I called my insurance to let them know about this service failure and they told me they will note this when it comes time to contract with them.

I can't say enough about the amazing team at Portsmouth Dental Care. I've had teeth for as long as I can remember, and I've never had a dental team so attentive, friendly, and thorough. I've had the privilege to work with the dental and orthodontic team, and I hope everyone who has teeth finds their way here.
