Mt. Tabor Dental

I love this dental office. They are so fast and thorough. I am in and out for my cleanings in less than 45 minutes and my mouth feels so clean. My dental hygienist is so nice too, it’s fun to chat with her. I don’t know the dentist as well because I haven’t needed his services, but he seems professional and friendly. I have to get a small filling next month and I am not worried at all. I feel like this neighborhood has a lot of dental offices - but I think Mt Tabor Dental is worth a shot if you are looking for a new place

I suffer from extreme dental phobia and PTSD from a horrendous experience when I was 18. Before I found Mt Tabor Dental I hadn't seen a dentist in many many years, I had tried numerous dentists but never found any that really listened to me or took my phobia seriously. From the first time I saw Dr Knight years ago I knew this place was different. He and his team truly listened to me and worked with me to make my extensive backlog of treatments tolerable. It took almost 2 years to catch up on all the deferred maintenance, and now for the first time in my adult life I have a clean oral bill of health. I never thought I'd get here, I was ready to have all my teeth removed before finding Dr Knight and my wonderful hygienist... so incredibly grateful to the entire team at Mt Tabor Dental.

Mt. Tabor Dental is great. The office is professional, they are on time, friendly and do everything possible to make me feel at ease while in the dentist chair. I had a crown replaced and the whole process was so fast and I have had no issues! Thank you Dr. Knight and team.

Rachel is a great hygienist. She is kind, thoughtful and professional. Putting an anxious patient at ease is so helpful for cleanings and dental work.

In my 70s, I recently moved to Portland and Mt. Tabor Dental was recommended to me. I've received great care - thorough, gentle cleaning and recommendations for home care that improved my gum health over just 3 months. Other benefits included that they submit claims to my insurance (I previously had to do this myself), easy to get to with plenty of parking.

I have been going to Mt Tabor Dental for many years now (17 years.) They are prompt, reliable, friendly and keep me informed on what I need to do to maintain my dental health. I have not had a problem during my tenure. I even like going even if the procedure for my visit is more involved than cleaning. Thank you!

Always a great experience at Mt. Tabor Dental. I have been going here for years with no plans to go elsewhere. I am a fan of Dr. Knight's casual bedside manner. Cleaning/fixing your teeth is just like any other regular thing that needs maintenance. Had my very first root canal recently and, wow, was it not what I expected. Hearing many horror stories (and "Oh, no!") about root canals, I had some moderate anxiety going in; a rarity for me. Zero pain. Zero discomfort. After the local anesthesia wore off, I was back to eating and drinking normally. No pain this morning. And, of course, my tooth feels way better. Awesome staff as well. Highly recommended.
