I brought my mom here for bad tooth pain. Dr. Sam called me back right away and was able to get us in quickly while working with my schedule. He was very transparent on the phone and answered all of my questions. At the office he was very professional and was able to exam, diagnose, and treat my mom’s tooth pain in about an hour. The price was reasonable and he even said he would help us file a claim to her insurance. She left without pain and I left with peace of mind. Thank you Dr. Sam!

Where do I begin? I seen Dr Sam’s on short notice as I had a damaged tooth that needed pulled. I read over the reviews and thought I made the best decision. I was grateful that he took me in as fast as he did. When I seen he was a black man I thought I hit the jackpot as it’s hard to come by black and brown providers in this city. Well that quickly turned to a nightmare once we got into the exam room. From the numbing meds to pulling the tooth was pure H E L L! He was very short and seemed very irritated by me asking questions and needing reassurance. He ended up hitting a nerve in my face while injecting the anesthetic that left my face numb for over a week. I screamed in agony while he was pulling my tooth asking him to stop. I honestly thought he was going to break my jaw. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. He also cracked a tooth while pulling the damaged tooth I came in to get removed which I didn’t see until I got home. Once I called and asked about it he said I would need to come back to the office for him to "assess". When I returned the next day I was met with an unanswered door, waiting on the stoop. The experience here was nothing short of disappointing and traumatic.

Dr. Sam gave a silver lining to a terrible day. A cracked tooth had worsened while away on work. That Friday night it became unbearable while i was also planning another 3 day work trip. That sat morning i called Pittsburgh dentistry hoping for any openings. I was scheduled very quickly for that day. Already knowing the tooth was a loss, Dr Sams professionalism eased my worry. The process though not fun was quick and I was being patched up before I knew it. I was impressed even more with the the willingness to follow up and answer concerns. Had a damaged molar & a wisdom tooth that was giving me problems. Called Dr. Sam's office & got an appointment same day. Atmosphere was comfortable & Dr. Sam's made the experience more comfortable. He's really a good dentist was in and out the chair in like 40 min and had little to no pain.

I’ve never been so impressed by a doctor. He cares for people. He cares for meeting people in their time of need. I had a tooth break on Friday afternoon, and I got in the next morning for extraction and bone grafting. Also, I called their number in the middle of the night cause I couldn’t remember which dentist actually answered and got me in, not expecting anyone to answer, just wanting to confirm the address. There was someone who answered at 1:30am. They mean what they say when they say they help with dental emergencies.

Had a dental emergency Sunday morning and he got me in same day, pulled some teeth and stitched me up in under 2 hours. Great efficient dentist, really nice too.

If you’re in need of help ASAP Dr Sams is your guy! You will likely need to pay out of pocket but you will be seen within the day of calling and get relief. It’s a small, older office but he lets you know what’s going on and has always been very kind! I’ve had a few painful teeth fixed there over the years and I’ll always appreciate his services. Tooth pain is nothing to mess with and I’m very grateful for his practice being there emergencies. I haven’t been there in a while but I’ll always recommend him to anyone needing help!
