Society Hill Dental

Wanted to wait til all 3 of my appointments were finished before leaving a thorough review, and I just want to say I had such a great experience here! I've had issues with dentists in the past, so it had been a couple years since my last appointment so I feared judgment. My first appointment included x-rays and a cleaning, my hygienist Lydia (baddie with the pink hair) was SO nice and amazing and gentle! I then had 2 follow up appointments to get fillings done with Jose and Dr. Wride and it was absolutely perfect. I have a fear of needles and a past of passing out from the Novocain shot, but once I mentioned that both the Dr. and Jose were super understanding and talked me through breathing exercises, gave me a stress ball, and laid me back during the needle part. I can't express my gratitude enough about how everything was handled. I also went 2 days in a row and they both remembered me and my process. I just can't get over how lovely of an experience it was (or at least as lovely as getting cavities filled can be). I'm leaving this review because I base a lot of where I choose on good reviews and want to make sure everyone knows that this is a great place for safety, understanding, and empathy in dental work! Looking forward to my cleaning in October 🙂

This is a dental office that you HAVE to use! Great staff, uber friendly and a top notch clean environment! The ENTIRE staff is helpful, the appointments are on time and on target and fairly priced! Dr. Wride is a true perfectionist, is detail oriented and you walk away with confidence! They all take the time to go over the procedures, the cost and the follow-up. So happy to have found d this dental practice! i had an emergency situation needing a crown and I have to tell you I’ve had many crowns in my day - this has been the best. I even forgot the temp was there. first fitting the permanent popped right in-that’s due to their state of the art tech they use. wonderful staff and process - love em!

Just wanted to say I had the best experience with Society Hill Family Dentistry. Victoria and Jessi are extremely kind and knowledgeable when it comes to explaining treatment and Candace was the best when it comes to cleanings. I recommend this place to friends and family. They are the best!

I really wanted to have a better experience here, but the bedside manner in this office leaves a lot to be desired. The staff lacks the compassion you expect when you’re sitting in a dental chair. My biggest issue was the treatment itself—the assistant or hygienist was incredibly rough, to the point where I felt like my teeth were actually at risk of being damaged. There was zero patience shown throughout the process, and the overall vibe was just no bueno. If you’re looking for a gentle or patient focused environment, this isn't it. They definitely need to hire more compassionate people who understand that dental work shouldn't feel like a high stress confrontation. No bueno.
