Gloss Dental at Pharr Plaza

Horrible experience, I was hoping for a simple dental cleaning. The receptionist Elizabeth said she would get back to me and give a call me after getting a hold of my insurance. Hours passed by and again she answered and said she will call back. Never got a call. I called the next day. My dental plan covers two dental cleanings for the year and according to the oral specialist I was going to need fillings so she couldnt provide a simple cleansing the day I made an appointment without getting charged or billed twice . However when I finally got someone to answer the billing lady said I would have to pay $800 out of pocket. I informed her my insurance covers the fillings and cleansing. So that doesn’t make sense. She replied well that’s what I’m calculating. I tell her I’ll see another dentist office. She then calls back 5 min later apologizing that’ she saw the information wrong and that the cost will be now $200 out of pocket…..

highly recommend this location. I'm not great with dental work and they made my experience a lot better than other places I have been. They were respectful, comforting, helpful, and understanding throughout all of my visits and procedure. My whole family will be seen here.

I recently had an appointment and was assisted by Kaitlyn, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly friendly, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit.
