Christian J. Kjeldsen, D.D.S.

I find Dr. Kjeldsen to be an exceptionally good dentist. He has a very kind and caring manner and gives honest, conservative recommendations. He explains each step of treatment and makes sure I am completely comfortable throughout all procedures. He is highly skilled and gentle in his manner. He takes the time to help me understand exactly what is going on with my teeth and answers my questions thoroughly. He does great work and I’m very happy with the results. My husband and special needs son are also Dr. Kjeldsen’s patients and are very satisfied with his care. The office staff (Michelle and Oriana) are friendly, helpful and professional as well. I highly recommend him.

My wife went to have a partial made after he pulled two teeth. He had to take three impressions because he couldn't get them right. Finally he received the the partial and said "Yeah I did it", he put it in my mouth for the second time and it clicked in, then I went home. After eating a meal there was food under my partial because there was a quarter inch gap between my gum and the partial. After going back again to complain, he said "There is nothing else I can do". Please don't use this dentist especially for partials he has no idea what he's doing. I paid him $865 plus what my dental plan paid him. Went to a different dentist and I'm in the process of doing this all over again, and having to pay more money as our dental plan will not pay for something they already paid for. TERRIBLE DENTIST!! I am scared of dentists. I do not go to dentists. My wife made an appointment for me with Christian Kjeldsen based on a recommendation. I was terrified the night before and the morning of the appointment. Christian and his team made me feel welcome and tried to make me feel comfortable. He and they are awesome. The dentist was gentle and attentive which is the most I can ask. I am still scared of the dentist but have an appointment booked in 90 days! I will update after that visit but I would strongly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist in Petaluma. Cheers Nick

Dr. K is just the best. He makes going to the dentist feel more like going to a friends house! I trust his professional eye and opinion completely. He has always taken great care of me and my family in all our dental needs. His staff is amazing, they make the experience an all around joy and pleasure. If you are in Sonoma county, you should be seeing Dr. Kjeldsen!

I used to live in the next town over from Dr. Kjeldsen's practice. I moved south years ago but I drive almost 30 miles to see the great folks at Dr. Kjeldsen's office 2 times a year. We've been going to see him for as long as he's been in practice and he's assembled a like minded set of folks who believe in great service, reasonable prices and a friendly attitude. As long as he wants to keep being a dentist, he's our dentist.

Truth be known, very few people look forward to going to the dentist. But since we must, might as well make it a pleasant experience. Dr. Kjeldsen and his staff do just that. I highly recommend Dr. Kjeldsen as a family dentist

Always a pleasant visit at the dentist. I have been going to Dr. Kjeldsen since I was a child. Moved away and came back due to my father being in the military and he was one of the only dentist that took our insurance. Now I have referred my husband who hates the dentist but says that Dr. Kjeldsen makes it a easier time.
