Gross Jerry DDS

I am a patient of Dr. Gross who has worked for him for several years. I do not have to comment about other reviews but when I see lies I must reply. Dr. Gross is a great dentist. He is quick, efficient, gentle and light handed. He incorporates many additional services into his treatment for which He asks nothing and patients do not even know it's happening. Many patients break appointments, come late or take 45 minutes to fill out patient forms that should take 5 minutes or less. This forces the office to run behind and eliminates some of the Doctor patient interaction. Patients think Insurance is an American Express card. It has limitations and restriction. When patients hear treatment is an uncovered service or a service is unlikely to be approved, it is interpreted as rudeness and insensitivity. They hate to hear about extractions but they do not want to pay for alternative treatment. Dr. Gross attempts to do a thorough cleaning not polishing on every patient. Bleeding is not a positive sign. If they resist thorough treatment or part of a procedure he will stop and then take a simpler approach which may be interpreted as a short cut. Residents of Paterson do not appreciate how lucky they are to have a Dr. Gross in their community.

I appreciate his honesty and willingness to assist with those that are serious about their oral health. If you come with positive spirits u will leave satisfied. Dnt let the fear of the dentist hinder your experience. All my visits have been pleasant ! The doctor is very patient might I add. His swift hand with his tools put my fears at ease. He numbed me before needles and made sure I was comfortable before starting his job. He is straight forward with the problems and solutions. I appreciate he had a solution for every problem and we started on time !!!

I take pride in rendering excellent care as quickly and efficiently as possible. I greet every patient but we are a busy office so we proceed to the exam and treatment as quickly as possible, Our staff is bilingual, and every patient is sent a six months recall card with a follow up phone call. Many times patient aspirations can not be met due to insurance limitations or finances and this is usually interpreted as rudeness or insensitivity. Remember that "healthy gums do no bleed".

Dr. Gross addressed all my concerns and put me at ease. He was skillful and courteous and explained everything he was going to do before doing it. He put extra effort in to meet my scheduling needs and did not rush my treatment. Dental work can be scary and overwhelming, but Dr. Gross made it straightforward and easy. I highly recommend Dr. Gross.

I had a terrible first experience and will never go again. First Dr. Gross just walked in and said hi and just went in starting in my mouth. He was removing some tartar and I felt like he was yanking my teeth and shredding my gums. I have never bled that much out of my mouth in my life. Then the cleaning he did lasted less than 30 seconds. No appointment to come back in 6 months or anything. No suggestions no anything. Will not be coming again.

Dr. Gross is absolutely the only dentist I trust. He makes any process easy and as quick as possible. Lidocaine does not work for me, so he will help as much as possible. Ive been one of his patients for about two years now and he's the only Doctor I know will do it correctly. Definitely recommend him!

I am a repeat customer for Dr. Gross. He cleaned my teeth the regular way and took out the hypersonic tool when it was needed - no other dentist went that far. He fixed up a chipped tooth without me asking, and I hope Medicaid paid him for it. He answered all my questions, too. To address possible negatives of a Medicaid doctor: All medicaid doctors are reimbursed a tiny amount by Medicaid, so I expect that they double or triple book patients so they have zero downtime between patients who did not come on time. That has to be expected. They have to work fast because of the same reason. That has to be expected. Their expertise and quality of work should not be sacrificed, and that is the only thing not to compromise on when you go to a doctor that accepts Medicaid.
