I had a periodontal procedure done and was genuinely impressed with the level of care I received. Dr. Wyndhamsmith was professional, thorough, and explained what he was doing in a way that made me feel informed and confident throughout the process. His assistant, Carmina, truly stood out. She was warm, attentive, and made a point to check in on my comfort the entire time. She has a very calming presence and went out of her way to put me at ease, which made a stressful appointment much more manageable. The entire experience felt patient-centered and well-coordinated. I felt taken seriously, cared for, and never rushed. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone needing periodontal care.

This dental practice can teach used car salesmen some sales tactics. I did not expect this dental practice to be so bad despite the other reviews, because I naively thought these people would still have some form of professionalism. I was wrong. The dentist (Dr Wyndhamsmith) spent about 5 mins on me and insisted on a custom-made nightguard. I have been using the hard nightguard my whole life without issue. But whatever, I didn't think much about it. Then came the reception (Christine), and she tried to overcharge me FIVE TIMES what is stated on my schedule of benefits for filling. The custom nightguard cost me $550, when a simple one would be $80. When I stood up for myself and insisted on paying what is stated on my insurance's schedule of benefits, and that I do not want an expensive custom-made thing, Christine shouted at me. Yes, she literally shouted at me in her office. She also stated that the dentist no longer has time for my concerns. So I called my insurance, and guess what? Christine instantly backtracked and claimed that she was looking at the WRONG schedule of benefits. Dude, I don't work in a dental practice, and I am I better at looking up prices for your procedures? C'mon. Anyway, they claimed they would call me back once they have the correct quotation sorted out. Didn't hear from them since.

My husband been with this dental care office for many years… we’ll say approximately 14 years and over and I switch my dental care to this place as well. I would say that the service is exceptional. It’s clean and the staff is really friendly. And dentist and professional staffs are very dedicated in what they do. Very thorough and very good and what they do. Thank you for the service you guys provide for your patients. Love the decor, you see all the achievements of the experts that works in these location and love the chair so comfy! Did so much with this dental office and I would say they took good care of our needs. Thank you.

Carmina was very nice and helpful showing me not only what she was doing with my teeth but explained why and what happens if I don’t. She showed me with the mirror and explained the before and after. She’s great!

I have been in this office EIGHT times in 3 months and seen 3 doctors now. I wish I could give a higher score but I am deeply disturbed by the conduct and professionalism behind the front office. The visits started well, but then declined quickly. I came in with an emergency crown. They were fast enough to see me, which was great. They talked to me about what was needed (wonderful), and we went ahead with everything. In the middle of the most intense part, the assistant and dentist started bickering like a married couple. Not cute and really unprofessional. They may have thought they were being funny but when you are stressed out getting a crown, please stop. Respect your patient. It was so chaotic, I wish I had just not come back after. Later, I went in to get an xray and regular cleaning. If you are fine with people throwing polishers at you that sound like drills, by all means, but she just went straight for my mouth. I asked her to slow down and talk to me about the device. She seemed surprised that the drill-sounding device freaked me out. She gave me some novacaine but I will never do that again. She found a tiny cavity that the doctor didn't even notice, and he said, "yeah, whenever you're ready, come back, we'll get it fixed". THIS is when I was realized never again... I got a filling from a doctor I had never met with a technician who was so sloppy with aiding the process. I went home and 3 days later started having deep zingy pain when I ate (over a small filling?). OK, things happen. I go back and have ANOTHER moment with someone shoving a potential drill down my throat with no novacaine. They looked surprised "I need to get to it." Yes, but TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE DOING BECAUSE THIS STUFF CAN HURT. Smelled the burning matter and the sound of what I thought was a drill. I closed my eyes and tried not to cry. I was on pain meds for days. A week later, I had to come back again (over the same tiny filling). This time, they wanted to see if I needed a root canal. Tiny filling, turned into a root canal in 2 weeks??? Dr. Kim took another polished to my mouth, hitting my nerve several times until I pushed my hand up and asked him to stop. He tried again. I was so upset I almost left and I should have. I burst into tears. "I need you to tell me what you are doing, this is hurting and you aren't listening to me." Apparently asking to be treated with respect as a human being was a foregin concept. He just sat there while I tried to collect my tears for a minute. When it finally was over, he THEN explained everything. Emotional intelligence is nonexistent here. Now I just think they are butchers and am considering reporting this practice.

I had gone to Dr. Joseph Kim for two different root canals over the last 12 years or so. I never had any problems with them, so when my general dentist thought I needed another, I wanted the right specialist to do it. I live on the west side, so I can’t use them for general dentistry any longer, but I always think of Dr. Kim if a root canal comes up. Unfortunately, their staff is unprofessional, and inconsiderate of others’ time. They have no loyalty to customers who have come back to them over the years. Over the past month, they have failed to keep appointments. First, I made an appointment, was clear that I needed the root canal, and was driving from the west side and wanted it done the same day. They said that was no problem. When they called to confirm the day before, they said, "Oh no, it’s only a consult." So they suggested we reschedule for two weeks later so the procedure could be done the same day. I was annoyed, but satisfied with them rescheduling. They confirmed the appointment a couple of days ahead, and again I CONFIRMED - this was for the procedure. I even confirmed they received email correspondence from my dentist, and that is all they said they needed. So of course, I was surprised that upon arrival they said, "Oh no, he’s too busy today, we can only do the consult." HUH? What’s worse, when I asked to speak to someone higher, I was taken to the administrators’ office. When I tried to explain what happened and how we had an appointment for the procedure, I was cut off, yelled at, and treated disrespectfully. I would not deal with this office. The administrator was extremely rude to me. They have no respect for your time. Even after all that, they still have no ability to admit that THEY MADE THE MISTAKE in scheduling. If I had failed to show up for an appointment and didn’t cancel, they would surely charge me a no-show fee. Yet today, they FAILED to keep my scheduled appointment, which I confirmed three times. Where is the patient’s compensation for their clear mistake? Really disappointed, and what’s worse is I NEED THE TREATMENT, and now they’ve wasted the last month. I do believe the doctors are good and do good work. Specifically I had two procedures from Dr. Joseph Kim and they have held up over the years with no issues. Just my opinion, but administrative personnel are not worth it. Or at least know that going into it and make sure you confirm everything and be very specific.
