​I was recently referred to Johnson County Dental, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the start, the front desk was incredibly helpful with navigating my insurance and scheduling. ​I was quite nervous for my initial evaluation, but Jennifer was amazing. She is so personable and kind, taking the time to ask about my history and making me feel completely at ease. She did a thorough cleaning—even removing stains I didn't know were there—and even offered to clean my retainer! ​My second visit for fillings with Dr. Todd was just as positive. He and his assistant were very kind, letting me watch a movie during the procedure to stay distracted. Dr. Todd checked in frequently to ensure I wasn't in any pain or discomfort. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for professional, compassionate dental care!

Was looking for a Dentist and found Johnson County dental. Had my first visit today. The hygienist Gana hope i got her name spelled correctly was amazing!!!! Very therow before cleaning i was giving her my information and Dr. Todd came over and greeted me. I was very impressed with the whole visit. Oh and my teeth shine. Thank you!!! If you are looking for a Dentist I would recommend Johnson County dental.

I’ve only been to Johnson County Dental Care twice so far, first for a cleaning. Meg provided thorough care, had a positive attitude, and made me feel incredibly comfortable! I absolutely second the first review saying to ask for Meg. My second procedure was a simple filling; however, I was still very anxious as numbing agents don’t always work well on me and I am accustomed to experiencing pain during fillings, and I typically experience extended sensitivity in my teeth after having work done. Dr. Todd listened to my concerns during the procedure and provided enough anesthetic to give me what was one of the first truly stress-free fillings I’ve ever experienced! Plus, I have experienced no tooth sensitivity whatsoever after the first 24 hours! I am very impressed by my first two experiences at this office and am relieved to have an office that can assist in my dental health with both kindness and skill.

I was nervous about not having my teeth cleaned for years and was experiencing a toothache so I decided to visit this office. I had the best time because Meg was so kind, positive, knowledgeable, and understanding! I’ve had bad painful experiences with fillings growing up but here I couldn’t feel a thing. Unfortunately I just moved out of state but I highly encourage everyone to visit this warm and welcoming place.

It is apparent form the minute you walk through the door that this is a patient centered and well run dental office. They have state-of-the-art equipment with knowledgeable and friendly personnel. They keep you informed through each procedure and make sure you are always comfortable. While lying in the chair waiting for the anesthetic to numb I was offered a favorite movie to watch along with headphones and a blanket. In the past I have had to make several appointments to complete a crown and a cleaning. Today I received all of the above at the same appointment. Dr Todd Thurlow did an excellent job on my crown and Jasmine Garcia, the hygienist, gave me a thorough gentle cleaning. It was a great experience......I love this office!

I am famously not a fan of going to the dentist and have severe anxiety for days before my appointments. Switching to this office has been the best decision of my dental related life. Everyone here is so calming and takes their time explaining each procedure they are doing. I have medical issues with my jaw and they are able to work around my comfort level and jaw mobility. I also have severely sensitive teeth along with the jaw issues, and after taking advice they have given, I feel like I have a whole new mouth. My son goes here as well and even as a kid, he has no complaints or worries about going to the dentist. I sincerely, highly, 100% recommend coming here, especially if you have any insecurities or anxiety regarding dental visits. Thanks so much to everyone on the team!

I went to Dr. Todd Thurlow** for a second opinion and instead of listening to my issues he immediately got into my mouth and started adding material to my filling and grinding down my surrounding teeth to "fix" the issue. The longer I sit with that experience the angrier it makes me. The worst part is I'm still having the same symptoms. He didn't even fix my problem! Absolutely not patient centered care and I didn't feel like I had any say in what was going on in my own mouth. ** (I think that's who it was... hard to know with how quickly he came in and started working)
