I was referred by a coworker several years ago after not having been to the dentist for nearly 10 years due to trauma. Dr. Ryan and his staff were so patient with me and they believe me when I say I'm not numb yet. I no longer fear dental care and I don't have to take medication to make it through my appointments anymore. My whole family goes here now and we appreciate Dr. Ryan's honesty and manner. If I could give no stars, I would. Unfortunately this office is run very unprofessionally from the Dr. to the administrative staff. Once the appointment was made, I was lied to regarding their calls and inquiries to my insurance company. No inquires were made, just an estimate of the amount I would have to cover. I was given this amount (apparently a random dollar figure) and I paid on the spot. After the appointment I received a bill for nearly $500.00. When I questioned that bill, the administrative assistant, Lisa, told me that me I was out of luck and it's "just the way they do business". My insurance company verified there was no inquiry by Dr. Bucher's office. Clearly this office is unethical or doesn't know how to work with insurance carriers. After the first call to discuss the matter, I was told I would receive a return call after it was discussed in their office. Of course I didn't. I had to track them down to get the information. If you are looking for a new dentist, look further. This office shows no respect for their clients and their lack of experience and professionalism will result in a problem for you. There are plenty of ethical dental offices in the KC area. This one is not on that list.

This is such an incredibly giving and generous dentist office! They donated an entire day of services to people the community who were in need and cannot afford care. Thank you for giving back of your time, talents, and services to those more unfortunate than others. Excellent care!

Friendly staff, excellent dentists who genuinely care. I no longer dread going to the dentist.
