Losing 2 front front teeth crowns on Saturday not fun, Monday morning Tidewater Family Dentistry office staff immediately started my recovery process, DR Vaughan explained my options perfectly, it was time for implants, Dr. Vaughan made a perfect interim retainer that day to replace my missing front teeth. Staff recommended HROMS for implants, 4 months later Dr Vaughan had my new front teeth replaced looking and feeling GREAT. Thanks Dr Vaughan and staff for fast as possible replacement job and their professionalism.

I came in for a filling at the beginning of October that went really deep and ended up causing me to need a root canal. I was referred to an endodontic office for the procedure where I first had to have a consult before getting the actual root canal appointment. When completed, my paperwork said I'd go back to Dr. Owen for the crown. When calling their office, because they didn't call me, I find out I'm being referred to yet another specialist for the crown which was never communicated to me by either the endodontist or Dr. Owen's office. I now have to get ANOTHER consult before I can get an actual appointment for the crown appointment. I feel like I was basically just milked for insurance money and then shunted off to another group where they double dip with charging me for consults before actual appointments. On the whole, this has been a frustrating and disappointing ordeal that will have me seeking out a new dental office since Tidewater Family Dentistry are good at creating issues, even better at milking the insurance, and best at passing the buck.

I have been going there for over 20 years, went this last time and had a 330 pm appointment- Arrived at 305pm, went back at 315pm for xrays- was told the hygienist would be with me in a few minutes, went back to the waiting room and waited an hour more- People that came in after me were leaving and they had 330 and 4pm appointments. I turned my paper in and told them they wasted my time and my appointmentwas for 330 and not 430. Looking for a new dentist now. This never happened under Dr Dollars watch. Appointment times were always honored.

Dr. Vaughan was gentle and thorough with the care she gave me. She gave me an explanation of every step of my care and was certain to send me to an endodontic doctor who had the same approach. I highly recommend her for your dental care especially if you have any fear of dental work. She is a blessing!

Recently had a broken tooth repaired with a crown at Tidewater Family Denistry. A big thanks to Dr. Laney Vaughan & the dental assistant. The intire experience was perfect. I highly recommend & appreciate their professional care!

Dr. Vaughan is an amazing dentist! She’s incredibly caring and knowledgeable, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. Her bedside manner is excellent — she makes you feel completely at ease, even during procedures that might normally cause anxiety. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her patients’ comfort and well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Vaughan to anyone looking for a great dentist!
