I arrived a little late and they were totally understanding. After filling out the paperwork, I went back for my x-rays and cleaning. They young lady who performed the service was friendly, thorough and it was there was no pain at all. Dr. Victoria Sherman then came in to explain her assessment of the x-rays. She was very professional and made sure I understood everything. She then asked if there were any issues I was having and gave her assessment of my concerns. She then recommended invisilign for the slight gaps and overbite that I have. I, in no way, felt pressured to have this done like other offices may do to make a quick extra buck. Just the offer and to be totally honest I had been thinking about it before this but not a pressing need though. She did give me an estimated price and an estimate of what my insurance might cover as well as some reading material. All in all a great experience, this is coming from someone who has had bad experiences. Definitely recommend this practice.

A small family run business were you will be treated by a friendly staff and familiar faces--including the owner. I was disappointed by a dozen different dentists, small and corporate, and I discovered this office by accident. My first visit here was such a good experience that I thought it was an aberration. Now after a dozen visits, and moved my entire family's dental service here, I write this review because they've earned their 5 stars. Time after time they been the same; friendly, accommodating, punctual and met all my family needs. Plus now they've added the most awesome dental hygienist, Ivana. I'm a UFT member.

Rude receptionist, unfriendly dentists. Left with bits of articulating paper in my mouth after getting a retainer that the Dr didn’t seem too happy to resize. Fix your attitudes, or keeping having an empty waiting room.

Dr. Michael Sherman has been my dentist for many years. I would highly recommend him and his practice for the provision of excellent dental care and concern for their patients.

Dr. Michael Sherman is an absolutely masterful artist when it comes to dentistry. As a clinical social worker, my job is fully dependent on my ability to communicate with others. For years I had neglected my teeth. For so long I blinded myself to the negative impact that my negligence was having on both my practice, and my overall self-esteem. It was only after experiencing an accident in which there was oral trauma that I could no longer deny the severity of my situation, and it was then that I knew that I could go to no one else but Dr. Sherman to help me through this self-made crisis. From beginning to end, Dr. Sherman’s office manager, Melanie Rodriguez, relentlessly advocated on my behalf with my insurance companies, which took a major weight off of my shoulders during a very stressful time. This allowed me to really engage and work with Dr. Sherman on all of the work that needed to be done. From start to finish, Dr. Sherman was beyond understanding of my needs and concerns, and most importantly he invested the time and effort into developing a trusting relationship with me which proved invaluable in getting me through this process. When I finally reached the part of the process where my crowns where being ordered, Dr. Sherman listened to what my vision of a perfect smile was, and he heard the laundry list of things I wanted to avoid, and to my utter amazement he turned those abstract concepts into pure perfection. He paid meticulous attention to every little detail, and gave me a smile that superseded all of my expectations. He masterfully ensured that the color, the length, and the width of each tooth, not only worked well for me but looked natural. Dr. Sherman is a consummate professional and a genuine expert in his profession. I could not have imagined going through this process with anyone else. Dr. Sherman gave me a million dollar smile, but more importantly, he gave me back my self-confidence and a new lease on life, and for that I will forever be grateful.
