I had a disappointing experience with this dental office regarding a crown procedure and billing. I received pre-approval from my insurance and was given a verbal estimate, but after treatment, I was told insurance didn’t cover the agreed amount despite the office submitting a much higher claim. My insurance later confirmed I overpaid by about $300. When I requested a refund, the office initially refused. Only after I insisted on speaking with the dentist did the front desk have me wait, then present a check already written out for the difference—without explanation. I also noticed prior claims submitted for services I had not received. Due to these billing issues and lack of transparency, my partner and I will not be returning.

Dr. Chan and his staff are very professional, polite and pleasant. I have been seeing Dr. Chan for about 10 years now. He has saved me and my teeth from decay and loss.

Best dentist ever. Always very nice and professional and honest. Sadly I had to transfer somewhere else because my insurance changed.

Always read reviews before seeking services. Dr. Chan's office is a scam; despite me having confirmed that my crown and post were covered by my insurance of which they informed me that they accepted. The receptionist called the day before my procedure demanding an additional $400 out of pocket, stating that my insurance does not cover the full amount. This is a deceptive practice called overbilling. If you consider visiting this Dentist office, verify with your insurance to avoid being scammed. You've been warned

I love Dr. Chan and the staff here! I used to cry when going to see the dentist. When I first started coming to see Dr. Chan, he wiped my tears and gave me words of comfort! He is definitely amazing!

Very professional office and very polite staff. They always make you feel comfortable and Dr. Chan is very compassionate. Just had a cleaning with the dental hygienist Olga who is also excellent.

Dr.Chan is incredible and so is his staff. We had been going to smile dental since before our children were born. Our now 8 & 12 year old children, along with my husband and I continue to receive excellent caring dental attention. We love the staff (shout out to Lena, #1 dental hygenist!) and they make it so easy to manage dental care. I never hesitate to refer family and friends to Smile Dental.
