Review Dr. Como I have been a paid Dr. John Como since 2015, when my previous dentist retired. Even though I travel from Staten Island to his office in New Rochelle, I gladly make the trip because of the excellent care I receive. From my very first visit he and his team have consistently treated me with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Dr. Como’s skill, knowledge and attention to detail are clearly reflected in the quality of his work. In January he treated my upper front teeth, and I’m expressed with the result. Dr Como is magnificent! Unfortunately for me, I’ve had extensive work over the years and spent many hours in the dental chair. However, Dr Como performed every procedure flawlessly, with great care and knowledge, and perhaps most comforting, no pain and a sense of humor! My wife and I were patients of Dr. John F. Como for ten years. We had major restoration work performed by Dr. Como; much of the work was needed to correct work done by another dentist. As a result of moving from lower WestChester we became patients at another dental practice close to where we now live. At our initial visit we had a full panel of X-Rays taken, an examination, and a teeth cleaning. While the hygienist was cleaning my teeth the dentist came in the room to look at the X-Rays. He didn't bother to initially introduce himself and instead exclaimed, "Goodness, I have never seen margins like that. They're perfect." He then went onto ask me who did my dental work and I advised him it was John F. Como D.D.S. in New Rochelle, NY. He then went to another room where my wife was having her teeth cleaned and had the same reaction when he saw her X-Rays. I learned that "margins" are where the dental restoration meets the natural tooth structure and according to my new dentist Dr. Como's work was flawless. I thought that was one hell of an endorsement for Dr. Como and I am happily passing it on to anyone in the metropolitan area who is looking for a new dentist. The quality of the work does matter.
