My daughter likes this dentist. He is "good" with the kids. The front staff is horrible. They state they have protocols in place for when a non parent brings a child to a dentist appointment. Absolutely understandable. However, they did not follow their own protocol to reach my grand daughters parent. Insisted it had to be on their recorded line. However never called her. 25 minutes after her appointment time I asked had they called my daughter. She said no I thought you were. Again, it is their protocol that has to be done on their recorded line. I asked her several times to call. She said when she was done doing other things. Mind you we are now 30 minutes past her appointment time and my granddaughter is not in school or being attended to by the dentist. Then there is two of them shouting at me. With the idiotic question of why am I upset. Oh and while they have time to pull me into an office to ask me, the reception still had not called!

Very pleased with my son’s first experience with Dr Dave! After trying 2 dentists before, we found the perfect fit! Fast and professional, proposed the best treatment for my son and couldn’t be more happier! The office is very clean and perfect for children with a lot of attractions.

There’s no point in having a good dentist if the front desk makes the entire experience unbearable. I’ve been bringing my child to Dr. David Jones for nearly two years and while his care has been great, the office operations are incredibly frustrating. I had an appointment scheduled for the Tuesday after a holiday weekend. Their policy requires cancellations at least 24 hours in advance—but the office was closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On top of that, the reminder text I received on Sunday at 12 AM was a one-way system: you can confirm but not cancel. When I called to explain the situation, the front desk was dismissive and rude, pointing only to the paperwork I signed about no-show fees rather than listening or offering a solution. This kind of rigid, unhelpful attitude makes it clear that patients’ time and circumstances aren’t respected. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the hassle. I’ll be finding a new dentist.

Went to DrDave with my two littles - one being very difficult as our prior dentist was unable to even look in his mouth and Dr Dave and his team used their magic and got him a cleaning and X-rays! So friendly - clean- and they all deserve a prize for the show they put on to keep my son happy and at ease

This practice is beyond amazing for kids & families. The staff is always friendly and accomodating and ready to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Dave has an almost MAGIC ability to put anxious children (and their parents) at ease. He's kind, attentive, thorough, enthusiastic, informative and professional. It's also refreshing to know that he will not push for unnecessary treament or procedures. My kids have had great experiences there - and as a result, have absolutely no fear of going to the dentist twice a year. I am so thankful for care providers like Dr. Dave and his team!!!

My daughter has never had a good experience at the dentist until today. In fact, the last visit at a different office was very dramatic and somewhat traumatic for us. She has special needs and struggles to keep her mouth open and keep still long enough to get an xray. After 11 years, she finally got an xray!! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I felt at ease instantly. Instead of rushing into the exam, they have a gentle and patient approach which made it more comfortable for my daughter. Going to the dentist can be stressful for some kids, but they showed me that it doesn't have to be that way. I highly recommend Small Smiles to any kid, but especially those with special needs or anxiety.

I really can’t say enough about how wonderful every single person in this office is. My 5 yr old I found out had multiple cavities and we were referred to dr.Dave. Like many pediatric dentist the kids go back solo; I was super apprehensive thinking my son would be really scared. He was very nervous to be without me initially in the first appt but came running out with a huge smile. He’s had to go a few times since and he actually bursts out of the car to run in. I’m not exaggerating when I say he talks more enthusiastically about going to dr. Dave then our trip to Disney world. I never knew I could be blown away by a dentist office but I really am. So glad something that could have turned into a lifelong anxiety turned into a real treat for my son.
