I love, love, love Dr. Hargis! He’s very professional, thorough, caring, and patient. Most people have an uneasiness when it comes to dental visits, but that’s because their dentist isn’t Dr. Hargis. He makes sure that you feel comfortable and does a great job addressing any concerns you may have. His staff is great as well! Every visit to his office has been a wonderful experience. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hargis.

Sam (Dr. Hargis) is a kind respectful man who runs an amazing practice. I just returned as a patient after years of being absent. Thank goodness they do not take roll. One thing I found amazing and this is a personal preference that I think denotes quality and care and that is a person who cares for their location as much as their patients. Dr. Hargis still has steel case chairs from the 80's that are in perfect / immaculate condition. The decor is the same and is incredibly tasteful and inviting. The Hargis Family and Team are incredible team. We have known them for years. Thank you for being a person that the community can look to and say, "I would like to be more of an example like him." Honest Dentist! Please read!! I just moved here a couple of years ago and finally mustered up going to the dentist. I went to a dentist that told me I needed gum surgery and I had 10 cavities! I thought "No way! I take very good care of my teeth!" So I wanted a second opinion. I told Dr. Hargis I was there for a second opinion and didn’t mention what the previous dentist had said. Can you guess how many cavities I had? ZERO!! My teeth were in perfect health! Hargis is actually honest which is a rare thing to find in the dentistry profession!

I have been his customer over 10 years. I've had 2 crowns, 2 veneers, various fillings plus annual check ups plus cleanings twice a year...you do the math.... He is an excellent doctor but today I had a disappointing experience. I had my cleaning appointment today and I had to miss work half day.....but since I had an OUTSTANDING balance of $17 the office staff dropped my appointment....I was not warned about this new policy so yes after paying so much money over the years my appointment was dropped for $17 miserable dollars...needless to say I'm looking for a new dentist...

Dr Hargis is a staple here in McAllen. He is just the best dentist ever!

I really like Dr.Hargis he’s amazing very good at what he does plus he’s very handsome but the staff is very friendly and this place is very comforting this place gets an A+
