Smart Dental: Dr. Jeong Lee, DMD

Dr. Lee and her staffs are amazing. Seems Dr. Lee is not chasing any financial benefit. They always care about patient situation with all good respect. I recommend some of my friends and they are fully satisfied.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lee for some time now. While she can be thorough and addresses follow-up questions regarding tooth issues and treatment options, her communication leaves much to be desired. During procedures, she doesn't explain what she's doing—leaving me unsure of what's being done to my tooth, especially since I can't ask while my mouth is open. After the procedure, when I seek further clarification on her decisions and treatment options, her explanations tend to be long-winded and lack clarity, often forcing me to search online for answers. This lack of clear, concise communication makes it hard to feel confident about the care I'm receiving—especially when I'm paying for expert advice and service. Additionally, the front desk experience is disappointing; the receptionist lady comes across as unwelcoming and even rude at times. Overall, all these make it difficult for me to recommend this practice.

I don’t usually post public reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. The front desk staff, particularly one woman, could benefit from better professionalism and basic courtesy. Every interaction—whether over the phone, by text, or in person—left a bad taste. Also, I had a crown done here, but it ultimately had to be redone elsewhere. When I brought up my concerns, Dr. Lee seemed to deflect responsibility rather than address the issue directly. Over time, I noticed a clear decline in the quality of care—new patients seemed to receive more attention, better communication, and more consideration with scheduling than returning ones. It was disappointing enough that I chose to stop coming and seek care elsewhere. It’s been some time since I left, and I haven’t looked back.

So I just had my last appointment at this dentistry. I've had several unfortunate experiences with the technicians at this establishment. The doctor is fine but both of her technicians honestly need to work on manners. I've had passive aggressive conversations with them both, especially with the woman who usually is at the front desk. I would not tell anyone to not go there but I will be taking my coins somewhere else. Use your own experience to determine if you'd like to give them a chance with the future of your dental care, but I will not.

I highly recommend smart dental !! I was extremely scared of dentist I’m talking about almost passing out. And after I met Dr Lee she made me feel so comfort, she’s extremely gentle I barely felt anything during the treatments and I had a lot to get done and she did an amazing job. and now my teeth looks amazing. Just try it I’m sure you will love her too

Dr.Lee was nice, but unfortunately the administration is terribly unorganized. They insisted that they haven't received the check from my insurance even though they have cashed it almost a month ago. Also they billed my insurance $500+ for oral evaluation, but when I asked them to send results over to another clinic, they sent images with low resolution. I ended up paying out of pockets for new x-rays. All stars are for the doctor who is amiable and professional but the administrations deserve none.

I like it because the doctor and staff are friendly and make me feel at ease, and the doctor is very sincere in his treatment.
