Dr. Gerard A. Centrella, DMD

Not sure what happened to my post a few years ago, so I am posting again. I started going to Dr. Centrella 3 years ago and even though I’ve moved 45 mins away, I still go back to him. The staff there are like family and quickly fold you in. There is definitely banter and sarcasm - which is all in good fun - and seeing them feels a lot like seeing my family and friends. The dental work is fantastic. The best dental service I’ve ever had and most entertaining - to the point where I’m surprised when an hour has passed. I’ve had regular cleanings, fillings, and other dental work done and it was all done well with high quality materials and skill. I normally hate going to the dentist but not anymore with Dr C!

Dr. Centrella and his staff treat you like family! He's honest, straightforward, and he and the staff will make your visit as comfortable as possible. Believe me, visiting the dentist is not high on my list of recreational activities, but Dr. Centrella and staff have always helped me with my 'slight' dental visit anxiety. For emergencies, they will get you in the same or next day. In addition to being my regular dentist through a recommendation, he took care of me right away when I fractured a tooth. Not only does he take the time to explain things to you, but will also explain the procedure/care to your family members in the waiting room too. They are really great about providing follow-up calls because they care. The office is fantastic and the staff work really well together to make your visit a pleasant one! If you a looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend giving his office a call....your teeth will thank you!

I first met Dr Centrella about 10 years ago and he's done some amazing work on my teeth. He'll joke with me that I'll only come in when I have a problem. He's not wrong. I just wanted he and his staff to know how much I truly appreciate all they have done. I just walked out of one of those problem appointments very relieved that once again Dr C pulled off some "magic". Special thanks to Helena! She was able to get me in right away as always. Dr Centrella gave me some very good advice about how to move forward with my treatment. He told me that I probably wouldn't take it and we'd be having this conversation again the next time I'm in trouble. Right again Doc...but I know you'll be there to pick up the pieces. 🤷‍♂️ I gotta be me..

Dr. Centrella and his staff are absolutely wonderful, and even that is an understatement!! About a year ago, I was searching for a new dentist and I am so grateful I came across Dr. Centrella. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by friendly smiles. Not only are they friendly, but they also bring knowledge and understanding to everything they do. From insurance questions to an emergency tooth removeable right before Labor Day weekend (yes, Dr. Centrella and his staff fit me so that I could get my tooth removed and enjoy my weekend on the lake painfree!!!) Dr. Centrella and his staff, take the time to get to know their clients and truly care about giving their clients top-notch care. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new dentist to call and set up their first appointment with Dr. Centrella and his staff!

The staff is very rude, so much so that while i waited for my appointment to see Dr Centrella, I had a toothache, and called to cone in sooner. A month later I called again and discovered the reason he would not see me was because the secretary told him we had an altercation on the phone! Because of hee false or perceived perspective of our discussion over the phone, while I was in pain, I ended up with a painful access. I could now lose my tooth. As a nurse, I find this type of behavior and decision making process unethical, and dangerous as it is the type of behavior that directly lead to poor patient outcomes. If you value your health, you would be wise to steer clear of this practice and the dysfunctional dynamics which occur behind these closed doors!

I went there based on the high rates on the reviews he has, but my experience was far from good, since I started having from the very beginning problems in terms of lower denture cracked and a missing teeth on top one. I had to go myself to his dental technician (which I think was located far away in Tewksbury , if I'm not wrong) to get the lower fixed with a piece of wire into it. A lot of hollow nice talk and smiles but terrible results for the money. My suggestion.....look for anybody else

This dentistry has to be one of the best ! The staff there are amazingly welcoming and treat you like family. Dr.Centrella is like a crazy uncle figure that you love and is very skilled in his craft. If you're looking for a new Dentist, he's your man.
