They are people you can trust with your care.

Disappointed with Billing and Communication at Watkins Dentistry (now Natural Smiles) I’ve been a long-time patient of Watkins Dentistry (now Natural Smiles) and always trusted their services. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. They performed a filling procedure without confirming with me which material would be used or whether it was covered by my insurance. Later, I found out that the material they chose wasn’t covered — and now I’m being billed for it out of pocket. In the past, I’ve always paid upfront and never had any outstanding bills, so I expected better transparency and communication. It was their responsibility to verify coverage and discuss options with me before proceeding. It’s frustrating to see this kind of mistake from a clinic I’ve trusted for years. I hope they improve their process and ensure patients are clearly informed before any treatment.

I am from out of town and had a temporary crown to come off. Dr Watkins and his staff did a wonderful job gluing the crown back on. He took the time to make a small correction and to explain what was going on with my tooth. I am so grateful for their help and kindness. If I lived in Louisville I’d want them to be my regular dentist! I highly recommend Dr Watkins and his patient and caring staff. Steve Perry

Dr. Watkins is an excellent dentist whose main priority is making sure his patients are comfortable and get the best dentistry he can offer. The staff is extremely caring and professional. My first experience at Watkins Family Dental has been fantastic and I highly recommend this office. Easiest crown experience! The appointment to get the temporary crown was painless and pretty quick. The actual permanent crown appointment took less than 25 minutes and was so easy. If I ever need another crown, I will only go to Watkins Family Dental.

Dr Watkins and his friendly staff are fantastic. They treat their patients like friends and family. The office is always busy but cheerful and you can tell that everyone enjoys working there. Dr Watkins is an excellent dentist, is always clear on what is being done or what to expect and is thorough in his follow-up. Between Dr Watkins and the staff, they make going to the dentist a pleasure.

Had a wonderful visit for my semi-annual cleaning with Kristina, preceded by annual X-rays by Destiny. They are professional, thorough and personable. Dr. Watkins came in and carefully checked me as he always does, proclaiming me in good shape till my next visit, appointment already set. These professionals, ably backdropped by a cordial and highly efficient reception and front of the house staff, ensure a smooth, satisfying experience each and every time! I also highly recommend Dr. Watkins for his knowledge and skills as a dentist and his affable chair side manner! I have been a patient of his since he began his practice.

Watkins Family Dental is the best. I have always dreaded going to the dentist because of past experiences (fillings done incorrectly, being over quoted, etc.), but they have changed my perspective. Everyone in the office is nice and welcoming, and Dr. Watkins is honest, clear, and works quickly but precisely to make sure everything is perfect. I don’t ever feel that they’re pressuring me with unnecessary or costly services like other dentists have done in the past. I haven’t had any issues since going to his office and highly recommend his services!
