George H. Johnson, Jr,, DDS, FAGD

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for 30+ years, and the quality of care has always been excellent. Dr. Johnson is professional, skilled and genuinely cares about his patients. His office staff is friendly, efficient, and consistently provides outstanding service. I feel blessed to have a dentist that is so caring.

I drive from Galveston for my dental care. Once I moved to the area and met my next door neighbor, I found my dentist! His sister moved in next door to me and I had asked her if she could recommend a dentist. I have been driving to Dickinson ever since. Dr. Johnson and his office staff have provided excellent care. Now his son has taken over, continuing his dad’s excellent professional service. The dental hygienists do an incredible job keeping my teeth and gums healthy. I highly recommend them.

Great experience! Appointment on time. Dedicated hygienist the whole visit. Dr. Johnson has a very likable personality that puts you very much at ease. They don’t try and sell you invisilines and tooth whiteners when you have a cracked molar. They let you know options and prices up front. Just great overall experience! So disappointed, didn’t even make it into the office before deciding that I will not be coming here. I called to schedule my son’s first time appointment and I was unsure if he’d been here or not cause we just moved back to the area. She popped an attitude practically saying "well are you established or not" I literally said I wasn’t sure, she asked for DOB etc in such a rude tone and then I popped an attitude back. Then when I proceeded to schedule she asked for my insurance. I said shoot I don’t have it in hand, I’ll have to call back. She proceeded to yet again have an attitude tune and said "uhhh yeahhh I can’t schedule etc etc" after I said I’d call back. I hope this reaches management and they rethink their front desk. This is flat out ridiculous.

Can’t do 0 stars. But apparently if you ask to talk to someone above the office manager after giving you attitude. Also doctor Johnson is too busy to talk to patients unless you’re in the chair. That’s his employees words. Even after I offer to come to the office to talk to him. The office manager is rude and was absolutely no help. They said I needed x-rays but did not mention that I would have to pay $114 and send me a bill months later.

absolutely the best! my regular hygienist, Tracey, had jury duty and was not there. however Maria was there and did a wonderful job. these folks take really good care of their patients, no matter who they are!

I love Dr. Johnson. And his staff is awesome. My last visit, I had a minor health problem which they were very attentive to. Thank you, Patricia Thompson.
