I had a periapical abscess that my dentist said needed a re-treatment root canal from a specialist. I was in so much pain and was starting to get sick from the infection. I called several endodontists and couldn’t get an appointment for at least 2 weeks. I extended my search and called up Dr. Johnson’s office, they got me in within 4 days. He examined my mouth and discovered the infection was actually most likely coming from the tooth next to it that had not had a root canal, but needed one. He explained everything in great detail, and he and his assistant did a very thorough job! He made sure I was comfortable, gave me plenty of anesthetic and I didn’t feel anything. Thank you Dr. Johnson!

It was very painless and he explained everything that he was doing. I appreciated his friendliness, professionalism, and chairside manner. His staff were kind and supportive. First off, this office has a very nice doctor. Kudos to him for making me feel comfortable in the midst of my mouth pain. However, the front desk administration is below satisfactory and their billing processes are out dated. I repeatedly asked for confirmation that my consultation would be free (aside from the X-rays) and the receptionist assured me that the consult was covered. I even asked her to verify with insurance, which she told me she did. I asked for a quote for the work that needs to be done, and she said that she couldn’t give me a print out and provided a rough estimation (that should’ve been a sign to leave, but I was in so much pain I decided to stay). I am a person who cannot afford mistakes and end up with a unexpected bill; unfortunately that was the experience here. So I’ll be sending them the additional amount they are telling me I owe and finding an office that I can trust to provide the correct information.

Dr. Johnson has helped me and members of my family on multiple occasions when we've needed root canals, including after hours and on weekends. Thanks for relieving our tooth pain!

Best place to get a root canal. I will only go to him. He is super nice and friendly.
