Totem Lake Dental

I highly recommend Totem Lake Dental - they are exceptional! Every single person I've interacted with here has been extremely professional, knowledgeable and warm, especially Dr. Andy Trinh, Becky, Brenda and the staff who helped adjust my night guard (sorry, I can't recall her name). I always felt like I was in good hands with Dr. Trinh and I appreciated how he proactively walked me through every step of the treatment process, made sure I was comfortable and took extra time to follow up every time I had concerns or questions afterwards. I also appreciated how thorough Becky is in her cleanings, and how she communicates the reasoning behind what she's doing. Thank you everyone at Totem Lake Dental!

Just a fine dental office, but not much more. They ask about dental fear and anxiety. Got a stress ball for the new patient visit, which was nice. Hygienist who did the cleaning blurted out I'm one step away from a deep cleaning before walking out, which nobody followed up with me about or explained what might be causing it / what I can do to prevent it. When I went back to get my filling, no stress ball, nothing. Seems like one person, the x ray tech, read the form, and everyone else just rushes you in and out. Not bad, but.... just fine. I'd rather they didn't pretend to care as much and go the extra mile, to at least set the expectation and be consistent. Dr Andy is very warm and kind. He errs on the side of fix everything early, even small things, and don't wait and see. When he did my filling, he didn't go over what to expect, and I learned the hard way I had two weeks of pretty severe sensitivity afterwards. A heads up and some recommendations on what I can do and when to reach out if something seems wrong would be nice. Rooms have no windows or natural light. That may or may not bother you. Probably won't be back, but not a bad office overall, and Dr Andy is nice.

This place is truly the best dental clinic in the area. Dr Trinh is so gentle, understanding, and kind, and he’s a wonderfully skilled dentist. I’ve had a root canal and multiple fillings done by him and it was just the most comfortable experiences even though they are quite difficult procedures. He always checks in with you, makes sure you’re okay and comfortable and never pressures you into getting something you don’t want. The staff is always welcoming and kind and they’re very accommodating always.

Meh, cleaning was fine but this place nickles and dimes you. Added a "cancer screening" charge where the Dentist looks at your mouth for 13 seconds and doesn't tell you in advance you'll pay for it. Have an issue come up and need to reschedule? They slap a fee on you if not done within 48 hours of an appointment time. This is a churn and burn facility that relies on a strong location over a welcoming, honest service.

Had a super pleasant visit today with Dr. Andy. From the first moment I got in into I leave, whole team is super friendly and accommodating in my first ever dentist visit in US. I came here to get my bond wire retainer repaired and Dr. Andy fixed it in 15 minutes very professionally. I would recommend this place to anyone considering a dental appointment.

Amazing experience! The front desk was friendly and efficient, the front area is clean and comfortable. Each step during my visit was clearly communicated and they made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. Great location easy access from the freeway and super convenient parking.

As always, my experience was excellent. In fact, I can't think of a thing that could have been better. Dr. Trinh is always great, and I request Brittany for a reason - although I have never had anything but positive experience with everyone at Totem Lake Dental.
