Cheng Mei Mei DMD

I’ve been going to Dr. Cheng for about 8 years now- she’s a phenomenal dentist, her office staff is friendly and she cares about her patients. A very direct person, visits are timely, and straightforward, cannot recommend her enough.

Very unprofessional. Their reception person cancels appointments without notice. I had an appointment booked for over a month and when I went there in freezing cold, the receptionist told me she's cancelled it. I showed her multiple appointment confirmation messages that I got from them, including a message they had sent just 2 hours back. They didn't even send a cancellation message (in fact their last message to me 2 hours before the appointment was to confirm the appointment). They say they will charge a penalty if you don't show up, but cancel appointments on their own (without warning). Highly unprofessional and immoral

I have been coming to Dr. Cheng for 10 years and she is the best dentist I've ever had! She's polite, gentle, and really cares about you. She is extremely accommodating as well. I can't recommend her and her staff enough! I moved away from Jersey City over two years ago to Jay, NY and I still make the trip down to her for cleanings. Do yourself a favor and call her for the best dental care around!! Thank you Dr. Cheng and all of your staff for making dental appointments pleasant!!

I have been going the dentist for 12 years. Dr. Mei Mei is very friendly and care the pertinent. I have sensitive teeth but when she is cleaning my teeth, no pain. I am comfortable. No waiting time is good thing too. I went other dentists before I found this, comparing she is the best !! I do not want to change any more.

If you need thorough evaluations, honest opinions and Impartial treatment plans, Dr Cheng and her team is IT! Dentist appointment can be daunting when one comes across irresponsible dentists who prioritize profit over patients wellbeing. For me, I believe my own set of teeth could be saved if my previous dentist(s) had spent the time on evaluations and been willing to recommend/perform more effort consuming procedures then extracting the teeth and call it the day Until I came across Dr Cheng a couple years ago, when I needed an urgent appointment midday at work. She was the closest dentist available on that day near my work, I was able to get an afternoon appointment for a really, really bad toothache. Normally many doctors in the city would look at the xray, point to the dark spots and tell me I needed an extraction. It wasn’t the case with Dr Cheng, that afternoon she spent quite a bit of time going through my evaluation. She said let’s try to save and preserve my own teeth as much as possible. She went in-depth with her evaluation, provided justifications and options . It blew my mind knowing my oral health can be restored if I work with a responsible doctor and follow through a plan. And most importantly she takes my insurance, and I was able to come up with a financial plan for the copayments !

Dr. Cheng is amazing, she is extremely attentive and great at her craft. I just finished a Invisalign treatment with her and every step/ check in felt cared for. No visit felt rushed and all questions are welcomed! Very happy to have such a great dentist looking after my dental health.

Dr. Cheng is such a compassionate and caring dentist and it’s so rare to find a dentist like her! Dr. Cheng and her team are so sweet and accommodating especially when there’s an emergency! I highly recommend her! 🙂
