Great Expressions Dental Centers - San Pablo

Dental hygienist wanted to do a deep cleaning on my back teeth. This is how they generate money. I said no, just want a regular cleaning. Went back to Dr Hicks and she gave permission but said I’d have to consult with a periodontist before the next cleaning. Hygienist did a fast, scrape, polish and floss lasting 8 minutes. My past cleanings, I go every 6 months, are usually 30 minutes long. Was not happy with this substandard cleaning. Dr Hicks never came in to examine my teeth. My last cleaning with Great Expectations, the dentist, Dr Hicks, never examined my teeth that time either. Very disappointed.

Excellent experience. I have been going here for over 10 years. Trish is awesome. Friendly, professional, and clean environment the staff is always very sweet and helpful.

I am a patient at one of the other Great Expressions Dental Centers, but had a dental emergency today. The San Pablo road location was kind enough to fit me in so I could proceed with treatment. Great teamwork, and i'm so appreciative.

The office was clean, the staff was friendly, and the appointment started right on time. The cleaning was impressively thorough without feeling rushed. A great experience overall.

Dr. Hicks is a skilled dentist and very accommodating. She always has the best solution for your problem. I highly recommend her.

Even though I had to wait about 45 minutes after my appointment time everyone was very nice the doctor is very very nice the dental assistant was excellent. And that was the first time I had my teeth cleaned and it wasn't that much pain the dental hygienist was very gentle and very attentive to my pain level and I felt like everybody was concerned about what I was there for.. and the co-pays were reasonable
