I’m an autistic adult and have just aged out of children’s dentists in the last year, and I was very nervous to start seeing an adults dentist due to my sensory issues and reactions. Dr. Kong and his assistants have been so patient and nice to me both times I’ve seen them, and I plan on visiting this office for a very long time. Their desk service is always very welcoming and sweet, and the doctors are very thorough with explaining procedures, what to expect, how to prevent other issues. Besides hospitality, their work is also amazing and their space is very clean! If I ever need extra numbing or to communicate something, they’re very accommodating. I highly, HIGHLY recommend their services, and applaud the whole team on their work :))

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Kong. He's very patient, detailed with explaining procedures and communicates adequately. The dental assistants are wonderful too. They have adequate equipments and the environment is clean. This is the best dental office I've ever been to, they're really good at what they do, truthfully.

Dr. Frank is so helpful and knowledgeable! I went from hating the dentist and not going for years to going back regularly. Dr. Frank has been patient and listens to me when i have questions. He remembers my medications and medical circumstances. He’s very professional and kind. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. I am very thankful I found this dental office!

I don’t recommend this dental office for anyone, they are more concerned with more about being paid than your actual experience in the chair. I had a root canal that took forever and was expected to keep my mouth stretched wide open for over an hour. Needless to say 30 min in and I was literally stretched to my limit. Afterwards they wanted a ex ray and the dental assistant who I couldn’t understand or get her to understand me. She had no consideration for the pain I was experiencing. She jerks my mouth around and while they had a mouth piece in to help with this ex ray she disappeared for 5 min. Thinking I was getting another picture taken and thinking she must of been having difficulty with it working if it’s taking that long. But umm nope, she simply just yanks it out. Then she says "you’re done now , Go Pay!!! Her exact words . However I always like to mention something positive to counter the negative and I will say their prices are bit lower than other places I’ve been.

DR. KONG and staff are always so good with me and my kids. I have bad anxiety at the dentist but West 38th Dental I feel safe with. Dr. Kong. They are the most gentle caring dentist office I have ever met. My kids and I love going there.

I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone. It was my first visit. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. From the office manager being extremely helpful with any questions I had, to the dental assistants, all the way to the dentist. Dr Kim was very gentle, and informative. I left happy and ready to return for my next visit. As a new patient I am happy I made the choice to come to this location.

I just stopped to pay on my bill and told them II was needed to set up an appointment for our crown to be repaired. They had a cancellation and took me right then, so I’ve got part of the crown already started on. Very quick, explained everything as he Was working.
