J. Scott Strickland DMD

I had been to the same dentist since 1976 until moving here in 2021. I was NERVOUS!!! Everyone in this office has made this transition SO MUCH EASIER FOR ME! I sure did pick the right dentist! 10/10 RECOMMEND!!

Scott Strickland is the best dentist in Huntsville and his staff is just as good. They are so very nice. I lost 6 teeth, both upper and lower, and Dr. Strickland went above and beyond to give me 12 new, beautiful teeth. I literally had nothing in the front of my mouth but infected nubs. Now, thanks to Dr. Strickland, I have lovely teeth again. Dr. Strickland spent an entire day on each set. It took about a year total between root canals, cleanings, temporaries, and finally crowns but it was worth every single minute. I will forever be grateful.

I've been going to Dr. Strickland for more than 20 years. I went to him for a second opinion back in 1998 (or so) after an accident with a softball (long story) and have stuck with him ever since. He has done cleanings and fillings on my entire family, and just did two crowns for me. I was terrified, but he did an amazing job. They look beautiful and natural! He's friendly, kind, and extremely professional. And Jessica is always helpful with office and insurance questions. You won't find fancy frills at this office, if that's what you're looking for, but you will find a dependable, caring, and trustworthy dentist. That's what I was looking for.

I would like to give a thorough assessment of my experience with this dentist office. Dr. Strickland is both personable and professional. There are seven people in my family and everyone has been seen multiple times. Two years experience with this office so far. (We went to different dentist office when we first moved here but quickly began searching for another. *a review for another time perhaps.) The services we have received from Dr. Strickland ranges from annual clean checks (for both children and adults), to fillings (again both children and adults), root canals, and referrals to a more specialized pediatric dentist for invasive work for a young child. I would have given it five stars but for one of the two dental assistants I have had experience with. This technician is not one I will see, and have had this sort of experience in other dentists offices in the past, where I end up scheduling my visits with the chair I prefer. I found this technician to be impatient and annoyed when trying to place uncomfortable (and painful) X-ray film in my mouth. Maybe she is ready to retire and doesn’t want to be doing this line of work anymore. I don’t know. But this is her vibe. Dr. Strickland is amazing though.

Dr. Strickland and his staff are great! His dad is my orthodontist and he's super nice, too. They're just a big precious family over there.

I was a new patient here on today. My visit was wonderful the staff was nice and friendly. Dr Stritctland was so so nice he explained everything to me. I highly recommend this office.

I would not have given this place any stars with the service I received. Completely rude service if you ask me. Save your money. Why did I choose this place? Because of the good reviews that were mostly likely family and friends. Newbies, beware.
