I have to say it’s my first visit so I usually never give a five star rating,but the two receptionist secretaries were very professional, especially Rizzi very polite and their customer service was extraordinary. They answered all my questions with patience and helped me with all my paperwork so I’m giving it five stars because of them. I went Today April 28, 2026 for my third visit And I was treated really really good. The front desk service is amazing and the manager is amazing. Great service and the place is very clean.

I usually do not write reviews unless there's a compelling reason, that is why I am taking the time for this review. Since being a patient at Howard Beach Dental, I can honestly say that each appointment was a positive experience for me. The oral surgeon, the dentist, dental hygenist and their dental assistants are all kind and gentle being very knowledgeable and professional. The wait time is at a minimum, being coordinated by the front desk staff who is truly the heartbeat of the office. They are very kind and always impressive how they are not only efficient in the way they attend to the administrative responsibilities of running the office, but also their above and beyond attitude to work with the dental staff to get you in and out as soon as possible. For example, one of the front desk staff realized that I was pressed for time, and she asked the dentist how long would it be for me to be seen. He needed to have the room prepped for me, and the front desk agent went to the room to have it ready, to save me time. I've never experienced that dedication in any dental or medical office before. I really could go on, but I just want to say that this practice is highly recommended. Sincerely, Anthony M.

This is my first time visiting this dental office, the staffs at the front desk were very helpful, pleasant and friendly especially Ritzy, the x-ray technician was very nice and patients, the dental Hygienist Susan was awesome she did a cleaning, I told her I never had a great experience with cleaning in the past, she did an amazing job and made sure I was comfortable, my favorite song was playing I told her this my favorite song (Hotel California) funny what she did turned up the volume slightly, the dentist came in and exam me explained what has to done prescribed some medication and the front desk receptionist setup an appointment to come back which I need to have a root canal done I had a great first Thank You all

I’ve had dental anxiety since childhood and usually tense up in the chair. Dr. Kurilenko completely changed that. He explained every step before starting and checked on me often. For the first time ever, I left a dental appointment without sore jaws from clenching.

I came in after chipping a tooth over the weekend and was worried I’d be waiting forever for an appointment. They got me in the very next morning. The repair was quick, painless, and you’d never know the tooth was ever damaged. I’m so relieved to have found a dentist who actually makes emergencies stress-free.

The Dentist said you need 3 root canals and my office takes my insurance. My root canal and crown should have cost me $260 max. They told me to start my 1st root canal it would be $382.00. I explained something must be wrong with the pricing? Took 2 appts to do the root canal, Dr was very frustrated complaining my nerves were impacted so they had to work harder to get the nerves out. For my 3rd appt they were supposed to start my crown. I was told they won't complete my crown, they want to start on the other root canals. I was told they won't take my insurance that I have to pay out of pocket. I am disabled and live in Social Security disability . Disagreed with the office staff. They called me back and said oh. Dr said he'll finish your root canal since you can't afford to pay out of pocket. Keep in mind I have insurance which I was told he accepts and his assisting drs as well. Then I was called back and told he will not do your crown you must start your other root canals. Over a month I have a temporary filling in where the crown should be. Last week I was told he changed his mind again and refuses to finish my 1 tooth. I have never in 55 yrs ever met a Dr. who leaves his patients mouth the way he has and basically does an incomplete jobs. His arrogant attitude really leaves something to be desired. It's like he pulls prices out of a hat. I would stay far away from this place. All he wants is money and lies to get what he wants or then refuses to do his job. Seems like the whole office knows how he is but unfortunately have to deal with his constant mind changes. They all seem afraid of the dr. It was a TERRIBLE, experience. Dentist's should not be allowed to operate like this. BEWARE!!! Howard Beach Dental not a nice experience at all!!!!!
